We've set the dates for this year's Friday Harbor gathering. It will be May 13-14-15. It has been a success in the past but we'd sure appreciate anybody's ideas or desires for something different or new to do during the event.

Mike or Bill will you please set up a signup sheet for this? thanks.

Barry,

After last years run across the Strait, it is going to be hard to do better than that, (glassy flat and Minke whales), but I'm going to try. See you there.

Excellent! Just put it on the calenendar.

Hopefully, M will be able to attend; she's back in school AND working. :|

We were just talking about this the other day. Barry and Patti, were your ears burning?

Since our first time last May, Kim keeps talking about how much fun she had and can't wait for this year. I wholeheartedly agree, too.

See you all in just less than 4 short months!

Two Lucky Fish and crew will not be attending this year. First time we'll miss it since purchasing the boat.

We're very disappointed, but apparently Arwen's First Communion, with all her little classmates, is an event we Must Not Miss.

Hi Tim,

Sorry you won't be there, and yes you have a good reason, but we will miss you still.

Come on Tim, what’s more important to you? Boating or your daughter’s soul?? I got shrimp pots  Susan said to ignore me

I'm thinking Reverend Dave could handle that First Communion thingy right after christening a few boats. ;)

Unfortunately, Rev. Dave will be unable to attend. I spoke with Rev. Jim at the SBS/CBC gathering. We discussed the christenings for Friday Harbor and I reminded him to be sure to have the proper Christening Attire with him. He said that he is ready and eager to carry out the solemn proceedings. :thup

That being said, Tim be sure to bring Arwen to the gathering for a most memorable and I'm certain unforgettable 1st Communion.

Well, I'll provide the crackers (wafers) and beer in lieu of wine for Arwen if you're game! I'm sure Rev. Jim can look that "communion" thingee up somewhere! Come on, be a sport!

Both Barry and I will be available to do your annual Vessel Safety Check. Go to HERE for a virtual safety check. See what you need or will be checked on. Also you can ask for a VSC from someone in your area from this site, if you can't wait until May.

OK, so Scott is sending out "Mini brochures" for those owners who request and comply with address. There will be a "few" boats at Friday Harbor, maybe 35 or can we break a record and get over 40 there.

What could we do to really make the C-Dorys stand out at Friday this year. I mean like the "Red Hat Society" or something, so that they ALL know we are there. This would need to be something that we can all participate in, reasonable cost, and lots of attention.

Let's put C-Dory's on the boating map this season.

I've noticed in several nautical magazines that advertise NW rendezvous, none of the CBGTs are listed, let alone Friday Harbor. Getting them advertised might make a difference. Not just to C-Dory owners, but to those curious or interested in a C-Dory as well.
