Yes. Thursday through Sunday, May 11-14, 2023. We would love to have you join us.

Thank you Gary, I believe we’ll make it for the gathering and find somewhere around Anacortes to leave the boat for a month and come back over for a couple weeks in June. See you in May! Take care

Judy and I are planning to come with Mistaya. Our tentative plans are to head across the Rockies in early April. We are hoping to do some cruising in Desolation Sound and Princess Louisa Inlet in late April, launching from Campbell River. Then we would come to the San Juan Islands, launching from around Sidney in early May. We plan to be back on the ranch by the Victoria Day long weekend so that we can get our garden in. We are open to meeting up with other C-Brats for cruising both in BC and the San Juan Islands.

I stuck the dates on my calendar. No definitive plans to attend at this time, but we'll see what next year brings. Colby

Peter and Judy, it would be great to meet you.
And Colby, hope you can make it as well.

Really hoping to be finished with my home improvement by then and be able to do some boating next season. Would love to meet some friends from up north and have some from the east and south join for a really super good Friday Harbor Pre and Post cruise time.

Cumon ya'll,

Harvey

we will be there for a week or so, Ling season

Dori and I are tentatively plan on being there provided all the stars are lined up . Hopefully the weather is a little more cooperative that last year. What we didn't get for Spring we are sure making up for it with a beautiful Fall. Hope to see you all there again.

Yes, like Dave mentions, we can hope that the weather cooperates for the event next year. May is a good time to have this event because it is a starting point in time for folks that want to travel further north into Canada and even Alaska. Colleen and I would be happy to host the gathering. I plan to call for reservations January 1. I will ask for the second Thursday of May through Sunday noon. Should be a fun time and look forward to seeing everyone again and meeting new folks. Gary and Colleen

Hopefully it will correspond with a shrimp opener!

lets hope we get a shrimp season. We ended up with more then a few days for shrimp but they were announced two days at a time. WDFW truley sucks when it comes to planning openings for shrimp and fish.

Dock Holiday and crew are in!

That coincides with May 11-14. At this time I have stuck it more definitively on my calendar, and if it works out I'll plan to launch out of Anacortes (or Harvey's back yard if the weather cooperates?) a couple days before the gathering, and then hang around to cruise for another week afterwards. Is crabbing open then? Colby

Colby, lately (the past few years) crabbing season doesn't open till mid July. The WDFW hasn't been very helpful in allowing for people to make their plans based on fishing seasons. They've been sporadic at announcing seasons based on catch results etc. However, if you are in to shrimping there could possibly be a open season about that time. Again it will all boil down to what WDFW decides upon at the time. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Thanks Dave. I've never done any shrimping. Maybe I should try it while out there if it's open... Colby

here is a starter video.

Not much different from crabbing really, other than about 270 feet of water. Can you shrimp in shallower water? I had 150' of line, but cut it down to 75'. :( Probably a little expensive for only a few days available while out there, but might be worth it. I enjoy crabbing when the opportunity exists. It's only money.... Colby
