we are approaching the last of april, the time for the Upper Cumberland Cruise!!!
1) cordell hull lock is run by one man named pat lampley. we must let pat know 24 hours in advance (friday before noon) what the week-end lockage scedule will be. we need this information so if we want to lock upstream saturday evening, and sunday, lock downstream at 6 a.m. or 9a.m. or times in between, so pat will know what time to show up for work. there is no "open for business" time as pat works for us. our scedule is effected by other boater's requests as well, we ain't the only ones out there  sooooo, if we get our request in first, the others hinge on our locking times.
2) showers...wouldn't count on one upstream of bledsoe creek marina.
3) meals are a lock-in at bledsoe 8) just need to know how the brats want to handle that
A) have a planned meal at a given time:for instance...filets, shrimp, baked potatoe and a salad bar
B)order from the menu to include special requests (three day notice, please)
C) i must talk to allen at defeated creek and see if he can accomodate us if we are after hours getting in. just a precaution
i will be getting a packet together with this info for the cruise and will be monitoring this post for questions or requests

:beer :cocktail reminder  THE UPPER CUMBERLAND IS PRIMITIVE :thup
c u later
