Joel,

Approximately 5 miles north of St. George exit off I-15 on 9 to Hurricane, then south on 59 which turns into Arizona 389 to Fredonia, then north on 89 to Kanab, then west on 89 to Page, which is right by Lake Powell dam. Have never been to Wahweap campground or marina, but know its close to Page. Better get a Utah map in St George.

Hope this helps more than confuses.

Where are you starting from? Are you coming from Chester or Southern Cal.? If it's Chester, then come stay with us in Richfield, and we can go down Highway 89 together.

No.....There's snow in Chester....so I am not staying there....too cold...
I am in Southern Calif...where it is raining today...bah !

Rox and I will try to get a early start on the 18th... and bumble along....hopefully we will be to Powell early on the 20th.....sometimes we get sidetracked.... but don't worry...we'll be there..

I agree - Lucky Dogs! I would love to go but have to do the work thing awhile longer.

Is anyone going to stay till the end of the month? Our good friends will be arriving probably the last weekend of April and would enjoy meeting anyone still around. They have a Kingfisher but do appreciate the qualities of the C-Dory. These are the friends who drove my rig home from San Diego after I became ill.

I just checked the fishing license deal for Lake Powell...$12 for one day, and $32 for a 5 day permit.... heck, I will just buy fish if I want any...you can buy lots for $32....LOTS more than I ever catch...usually zero..
I guess I will just leave da pole home,
No fish on my barbe...

I just finished harvisting avacatos from our tree....ones from the very top of the tree where the darn possums can not get .... (they eat all the easy ones) I will see if I can pick up a flat of those huge Oxnard strawberrys....

Should be there early afternoon on Wednesday

Drive or Fly??? Which airport would be best to fly into on Southwest?....or I guess I still have time to drive.... Price of diesel and price of plane ticket almost the same... Great weather to hooch out in the Excursion. Sherryl pitchedabitch about my hair being too short on my arrival....so I guess I could go hang out with C-Brats for a week or two and let it grow out. What a welcome home. :embarrased :roll:

Too much going on....with me just getting back in..... WOuld love to again be traveling with the most of you who made the Nashville Gathering just about this time last year....but...there will be another day on the horizon. Please....share a nice sundowner. I will be thinking of you as I work/play/help Marc from Wefin's at the Gulf Coast Boat show over the next few days and weekend.
