03/10 - 03/12 - Poulsbo, WA

I will be coming down through the Swinomish Channel past La Conner, the east side of Whidbey in Saratoga Passage, past Langley and then head through Agate Passage. That is the most direct route for me. Just have to put up with the crossing of Admiralty Inlet.

Would love to, however those particular dates don't work well for me. However, I'm certainly pleased that so many appear to be able to attend as Poulsbo has recently become a FAVORITE destination for us!

We'll catch up to you on other outings!
 
Dotnmarty-- we will be leaving friday when we get off work or at noon is I dont work and can get susan to play sick. If we can leave at the same time that would be great.
 
Hi it's janet again! I will be happy to make the reservations for Poulsbo. the cost is $15 per boat, and that includes shore power. Should I go ahead and book it for Mar 10th or are we still choosing between the weekends of the 10th and the 24th?

David, depending on the weather and the time, we also might start out from Twin Bridges and head down the Swinomish Channel.

Great Peter, last time I made part of this trip was a dusk and Kate and I plus a 5 YO grandson ran down to Langley for an overnight with the brats.

I left a message with the Poulsbo marina and hopefully I will be able to confirm our reservations for March 10 and 11 tomrrow. I think Chris and I will launch here in Everett on Friday afternoon. Maybe we can hook up with some of the northerners!

weather and time permitting, we'll be there. Where would be the best place to launch if coming from the south? Should we pack the mopeds or the kayaks?

The Port of Poulsbo harbor master called today and he is sending me a group reservation form. I will fill it out and send it in, based on the number of people/boats who have signed up.
He needs a deposit two weeks in advance. Can anyone tell me how we usually work that out?

Hi ,
I live on Bainbridge Is. and Poulsbo is close most everthing is within a couple of blocks of the marina with the exception of the Dairy queen and Subway they are about five blocks. Not to worry thou you will never make it past Slys bakery, this place is an instution around here they are the best .
( P.S. plan on gaining a few pounds) mmmmmm sticky buns yum

Hi Luna C thanks for getting the sign up sheet going. Raven Dancer will be there in Poulsbo on Friday March 10th. Who do we pay for the moorage? Do we call the marina or what?
Please let us know as this will be are first big adventure with the c-dory group. We are sooo excited!!! :))) :lol:
 
It sounds like our land based activities may only take us as far as the bakery :) probably should pack the kayaks to help work off the baked goods
 
We're going to try to be there. Class schedules won't allow us to be there Friday or Monday and that's a long haul for just over night. We sure would love to see Paulsbo and get together with everyone.

For some reason we seem to be out of step with all the 2006 gatherings. In every case so far we either have to work or cancel another important commitment to be there. :( We'll do our best to be at as many C-Brat gatherings as we can.

Luna C, how soon will you need to know about us?
 
Wish we could take the Sue C but won't be able to make this one because of company coming from out of town. Someone ought to walk up the kayak shop though and check out the kayak with the see-through floor. That is really cool. I have been thinking about getting one to take north the next time I go.
 
I'd like to sign up for the get together.

Janet - Luna C - Could you ask the Marina if each of us coming could call them, reference the C-Dory group and give them our own credit cards to reserve our individual moorages?
 
I got the reservation form today, and I think Steve's idea makes sense! I will reserve the spots, and each boat/captain/family can call in to pay. (They want the payment 2 weeks in advance). Plus this way you can let them know if you will be there 2 nights or just 1.
Anyone who is thinking about joining us, sign up! I want to be sure and reserve enough slips!

PS Maybe our boat won't have a name on it after all - we have to wait for the temperature to reach 60...
