Many of you have expressed interest in going on the 1pm Argosy Cruises Locks cruise on Friday, 26Jan07, right in the middle of the Seattle Boat Show stuff. Over 20 people have sent me PMs/Emails indicating this would be fun. It is a great time, particuarly for us "non-locals" who fly/drive into the area without our boats for the boat show and all the C-Dory stuff that takes place at the Hawthorn and Factory Visit.

Now, each individual needs to log onto their site and sign up your boat/friends/family and lock in your tickets for this cruise. It cost about $26 bucks, a great time for sure, nice warm boat, and nice beverage bar on board too.

ALSO... THERE IS A SPOT OF THE NAME OF YOUR GROUP. PLEASE ENTER "C-DORY OWNERS" AS THIS WILL HELP THEM KEEP COUNT OF OUR NUMBERS ON BOARD.

And.. if we do not get a sign up sheet on our site, please continue to send me your PM's/Emails as I can kinda-sorta keep up with how many to look for on that day.

Really looking forward to this annual trip for me. Ya just gotta love this stuff.

We have a signup list in place to help keep track on those who have reserved a ride for this. It is found through the Event Signups link at the top of the CB pages or opened here in a new window.
 
Here is a couple of pics from earlier years.

Me (red jacket), my Brother Mike and his wife Brenda (GYPSY) on this trip in 05, and we did not get a pic on the boat in 06, but Terry and Bill/Padre (Last Dance) were in from NY that year.

Each time a great time. AND..yall who were signed up for today's Washington Lake cruise and was canceled due to the weather...well, just sign on up and come aboard... just more of the fun around the boat show.

Thanks to those of you who have called/emailed/pm'd.

Got PM from Mike/TyBoo and he is in dial up land...and will set us up a sign-in roster to help us track who all to look for on this fun cruise. But..each person still will NEED TO LOG ONTO THE ARGOSY WEB SITE AND MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS.... The roste on the C-Brat site will just be a tracking like all our other gatherings/events sheets/rosters.

Getting back from the Carrabean and the Cotton Bowl. Both were great. Now, looking forward to our Seattle Trip and annual Friday afternoon locks cruise. Just 3 weeks out now. :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
Ok I am signing today, I went by Argosy waterfront office and at noon on 1/6 they had 14 C-Dory owners listed as reserved for the cruise.

Also found out your get a 5% discount if you reserve online, doesn't apply to their waterfront office though.
 
Glad to have you all signing up...and taking advantage of the signing up early on the internet and getting the discounts... Yes, during conversations, no discounts were/are offered when buying on location. I guess they figure they HAVE you there... grin. But to walk away, sign up later, and get the discount would be fun too....just for kicks and grins.

Truly looking forward to this as are the few of you I have talked with/emailed in the resent days.

Talked with a few folks today... Really getting close and looking forward to this. Some I know have tickets...but are not signed up...and if you are signed up on our event list...PLEASE BE SURE TO GO ONLINE AT ARGOSY AND RESERVE YOUR TICKETS.... and save a few bucks.

Couple more emails and PMs...

1 - Order tickets online from the Agrosy site, and get the discount.
2- Sign up on our event list if you want us to better tell who will be on the cruise..

3. Do neither, just show up around 1230 at the pier, buy tickets and join us! It is a fun time and let's some of us meet in a smaller group to start matching faces/boat names/places prior to the larger crowds at the hotel and/or factory party.

We have a very nice size group signed up to go, representing12 boats and between 20-30 folks... so this will be a blast!!!

Other changes are that Roger Johnson (SENSEI) has been called to report to Fort Potato, and haul several more truck loads of tatters....so, his arrival in Seattle will be delayed to Friday, but in time for him to make the cruise too.

Those of you that have sent him WILL-CALL WINDOW boat show ticket request, relax, he has worked those tickets and I will deliver them prior to the boat show opening on Thursday mornings with your names on them as communicated with Roger.

Those of you who were to get tickets from Roger at the Hawthorne, no problem there either. Myself Jeff Brigner from Bama, and Terry from NY Attica prison systems will have the tickets, from Roger at the hotel for you.

At sign in at the hotel, ASK FOR Roger Johnson's room number, I will be there, or a note on the door as to where I am (on the property) to get your tickets.

I plan to be at the boat show all day Thursday, and return to the hotel around 6pm "ish" for those of you signing in at the hotel during Thursday, and needing tickets for the boat show. Several of us will be at the hotel so finding us should again be easy...we might just take over the coffee shop area...or... leave a note at the front desk as to where we have grouped up.

Friday after the cruise, we will return to the hotel for the hotel events Friday night.
