Well, I may be there, but a little too late. Wife and I are looking at visiting my folks in Phoenix and my brother in Graham. Originally this all started out while thinking earlier about checking out the Seattle Boat Show. However, after my wife finally let me get the full bimini top and camper enclosure for Midnight Flyer, I stopped thinking about a new boat myself. (LOL. Well it worked, I got my Bimini!) Then also thought why do I want to put myself thru the stress of seeing all those new boats! Sort of like a baby in a toy shop.... But with a few changes felt we should still get out to visit my folks as they are only getting older, and take some additional time to visit my bro. We won't be getting to the Seattle area until January 31st, and then only staying through that first weekend in February. But if our plans change to reverse PHX and SEA around, I'll have to keep this gathering in mind. Colby

Colby, There is so much more to see there then just new boats. Last year, I spent about 9 hours, and only about 15 minutes walking through the main boat floor. Lots of cool interesting stuff on the mezzanine deck, and even some of it is useful.

Wondering if anyone is coming in single that might consider sharing a room for a night or two. This could include transportation from SeaTac if needed. Please PM me. I am not set on any particular date but it would be nice to have it work in with the C-BRAT pot luck.

looks like 6 vessels. 3 of those are probably 2 folks each, and the other 3 are ?? A typical year will be 25 to 35 folks for the potluck.

Don't really have a lot to look for for SleepyC, but it is fun to look and see. And hope to see a whole bunch of C-BRATS at the pot luck.

Curious what "amenities" we will have available for the pot luck.

"....the room is great with table chairs and outlets for crockpots ect. "

What are we looking at for things like the number of outlets, how many tables, is there a sink available, counter space and anything else important?

Thanks, Susan or Peter or ?????

Some of us Lucky Fishes might be there. Busy teens maybe not, but Tristan is always up for some boat show shenanigans, and we can probably drag Julia along.

Hey Tim, it would be good to see you. (Pot luck I hope, as the chances of crossing in the 3 venues are somewhat slim.)

I'll have to check my work schedule. I'm getting re-assigned/transferred to a precinct closer to home, but my schedule will change... I'm pretty sure I work all weekends in January.

Mark, I hope the change is good for you. If you can't get to the SBS potluck at least we will know we are safe. Thank you.

Yes, Harvey. Thanks for your kind words. The change is for the better, for me and the family. The new assignment is still patrol, but cuts my commute time in half and is 4/10's vs 5/8's, so more days off per year. I will miss my squad, as I have some really good deputies that work for me, but they understand...
