01/25 - 01/27 - 2013 Seattle Boat Show

I just heard the devil whisper "go back and finish your nap, and leave these nice folks alone!".

And it's a miracle I can hear anything smaller than 5" 38 cal guns!

Wish I could make SBS 13!

Are there going to be any C-dories on display at the boat show this year? In the past, Master Marine's C-Dory display was minimal at best.

Yes - see further up in the thread. Master Marine will have a boat as will Triton in conjunction with Waypoint Marine. I If I recall, there will be a 22 at Master Marine and a 23 Venture at Waypoint/Triton.

Well, boys, you all know me pretty well I guess...

Leo, according to Scott Boysen, production manager at Triton Marine, Waypoint Boats will be showing a Venture 23 and Master Marine will be showing a CD 22. Saying Master Marine's effort was "minimal" is too much of a compliment to them, but Waypoint Boats is a completely different story - as C-Dory's (and SeaSport's) Seattle dealer, I think they will do a bit to kick start the Triton Marine production schedule for 2013! Scott will also be there on the weekends.

I just called the hotel and we still have plenty of rooms for us. So if you are booked yet and think its to late, its not. Call and book your room today.

I just booked a room for Don. I am very glad that he is coming. Should be a great show.

Booked a room. First trip to SBS and First C-Brat gathering. Looking for a ride for my wife and I to the Taproom Friday. Looking forward to meeting some C-Dory fans!

I've got you down for a ride in the van. I took my wife and I out of the van to make room. We'll be driving separately and will have room for another person or two also. See the thread on the "Taproom get together".

Just a quick note that I plan to be there Friday afternoon, 2-6 pm or so. Not sure I'll be in on Saturday. Kids have sporting events, my dad's in town, etc.

Here's a summary of the planned activities:

Friday night, 5-9PM:
Snoqualmie Falls Taproom.
8032 Falls Avenue Southeast Snoqualmie, WA 98065
(425) 831-2357
Those riding in the van should meet no later than 4:20 PM near the NW corner of the parking lot on the North end of Century Link Field. We plan on departing at 4:20PM! Info on this event can be found in this thread. The cost for the catered food is $15/head. Drinks are available at your own expense. We'll have a few door prizes. The current list of attendees is at this link.

Sat. night chinese dinner, 6-8PM
Four Seas
Address: 714 South King Street, Seattle, WA 98104
Phone:(206) 682-4900
There's some parking nearby the restaurant. They have a lots just to the east of them and a small lot connected to the restaurant. It's about 1/2 mile from the north end of Century Link Field to the restaurant (a 13 min walk according to Google). Unless it's raining cats and dogs, I plan on walking there from the boat show. The cost is $15/head + 18% gratuity. More info on this event is at this link.
The current list of attendees is at this link.

Those of us staying at the hotel will likely meet in the AM for the breakfast there and probably will be hanging out in the bar in the evenings so there will be some opportunities for informal gatherings also. I plan on wandering around at the boat show most of Sat. and Sunday AM.

One more thing - Don't forget that our own Sam Landsman will be giving a presentation on his Alaska trip on Friday night!

So far the only C-Dory at the Boat Show is the 23' C-Dory Venture at Wayoint/Triton along with three SeaSports and some inflatables, it looks like there is still room for one more boat. :cocktail
