01/23 - 01/25 - Seattle Boat Show/C-Brat Convention

Hello my wife and I are looking forward to meeting up with some of the C-Brat family at the Seattle Boat show and Factory Tour. I have been in touch with Roger - seems like a great guy. We do not yet own a C-Dory but I have been an avid "lurker" of the C-Dory site and fan of the boat for well over a year. See you tomorrow! :)

Toni and I hope to check in by 4:00 pm, we also have an invite to the show tonight at 6:00 pm from Ranger Tugs. Hope to see some of you either before or after or in the morning.

Folks, Last Chance!

If you're coming to the SBS CBGT Jan 23-25, don't forget to sign up at the top of this page using "event signups".

Also if you are coming, please e-mail or PM me so I can make you and your 1st mate a name badge. Please include full names, homeport, boat name, size and trim color. Anytime after 8:00 AM Friday will be too late.

See you there,

Roger

John, and any other prospective owners coming to Seattle to get more familiar with the boats: Two Lucky Fish, a 2005 22 Cruiser, is moored on Lake Union nowadays, so it's reasonable for me to take you out for a quick boatride while you're in town. Just let me know and we'll set something up.

Meanwhile, I may not make Friday, and I'll try to make the factory tour Saturday. We've had a run of the flu at our house. Not "a real bad cold", but actual influenza. Julia definitely won't be attending, as she's still recovering.

Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no. What have I done. I caved at the last minute and let the girls talk me into bringing a crowd. Two 15 year olds and two 12s. I am not a smart man. We'll get there mid-morning Saturday and stay that night at Larkspur.

C-Dory adventurers - We landed at the Larkspur via I-90 at 12:30 pm today. Smooth seas all 680 miles. No icebergs. Our slip is rm. 103. Call or come see us. John & Edna

Hey John, did they charge you extra for electrical hookups at that slip :)
we're going to blast up Saturday, just a day trip for us.

Mike, Be sure to throw in a roll of duct tape for your trip...there's no better child containment tool

Sally and I went to the show tonite, they had an invitation only VIP nite, got ours from Ranget Tugs  ..I brought my Ranger Tug hat and the C-Brat hat and just traded off. Went on the new Ranger 29 Tug, and the new TC255 they had there. Still like my 255 best, that 29 is just toooooo big. We're in room 121, going to try to drive up and see Dusty tomorrow with Seawolf Joe.

John, Charlie, Ken,

If you contact Harvey (Hardee- Sleepy-C), he has your name tags. He was at the VIP night and is staying at the Larkspur.

I'll be there tomorrow with 20+ more that came in late!

Roger

As soon as I write this and sign off, I'll be on my way to the SBS and will see some of you there and a pod of you at the hotel this evening.

For those of you on the road or in the air, drive/fly safely!

See you there, Kate and I are leaving Guemes Is. on the 1:00 ferry. A couple of car stops on the way and then it is a boating week-end with out our boat.

Before I leave for the show I should post this list of fishing classes that will be at the show. I have heard many of these folks give classes before and Ron Garner is a good freind and pres of The Edmonds chapter of PSA. This guy gets more 100 plus lbs halibut in Washington then anyone I know. Last year he had 6 100plus fish to the boat. One was 175 I think. Ron is a rgreat guy. Any way heres the link to the list.

We're here, settled into Room 107 at Larkspur Landing! Met by the greeting committee, got our name badges from Roger, meatballs are heating up in the crockpot for the potluck, and Patty is pouring the drinks! The keg is in the back of the car for the factory party. All is good!

Hoist a brew for me, eh? Can't get down, but had some cool visitors come up to spend a little time and lunch. Great day here, but sure wish I wuz with the gang.
