I signed up for the SBS gathering, and then realized I goofed. Double booked!
Dang it. I will miss the fun, friendship and all the boat stuff.

I am sure this will be my last goof of 2010. Ha!

Either that or the FIRST goof of 2011 for not rectifying the problem and showing up at the gathering anyhow.

I believe I read that there's a Friday night potluck - since I live locally, that seems like the only thing I could "register" for, correct?

actually there is no regestering to be done. the sign up list is just for us to kinda have an Idea of who is comming. the only thing ya gotta do is show up and have some fun meeting new faces and puting a face to a name. the sign up list helps us to make name tags ahead of time and have them at the door when you arrive. there will be something going on both evenings in the room so come on down.
 
There is no rule that says just because you live close by you can't stay at the hotel, we have stayed at the hotel since we have been doing this shindig, and we are only about 20 miles east of you...your call! But you are going to miss a lot of the fun of the whole SBS/CBC, which is about the camaraderie and like Roger says, putting faces to names.

Kate and I just signed up for Friday and Sat night. She has a weaving demo at the Burk in the U district at 10am Sun so we will be heading out early. Not sure what I am going to do until 3 PM, but something will come up.

I thought I read that it was going to be in the water but now that I re-read this I don't see where it is going to be.

We may go to Boats Afloat Sunday noonish anyway, if we feel motivated.

Well it's getting pretty close to show time, does anyone know if their will be any C-dorys on display? My understanding is that it would have to be Kitsap Marine who displays them. Maybe Matt can answer this?

It is now January and time is running out to get your room reserved at the Larkspur for the gathering. today is the last day that the larkspur will hold the block of room for us in reserve.
So far there are only 20 rooms reserved and so if you want to be assured of a room you need to call Linda for reservations.

Friday night potluck starting at arround 6:00PM
Sat. night is a ?? (to be determined)
last year we had a swap meet ,it was a lot of fun

Loree and I will not be able to attend this years shindig , We have 2 Birthday Parties to attend My Grandson's 3rd and my Brother's 65th . I guess Charlie and I from the (East) Coast will not be there this year . Hopefully next year or when the weather gets a little better Like July -Aug.
