Tickets: Last I saw from Jeff (Boatman) was on the 1st page of this topic, about the 14th message, posted Sat, 6Nov/4:59pm indicating tickets were available. He did not indicate how many or for who, and is more than likely up to his/their ears in the transition into the new shop. I need up to 4 for myself, my wife, my brother Mike and his wife. We are flying in from AL & TN. We are flying in Thursday and getting a rental car.

Friday Night: Thought the hotel we were staying in had a conference room that we could have a very casual gathering in. I like the idea of just ordering pizza once we are there. Lends itself to much flexibility, can be quickly adjusted, no work envolved, can pass a hat to share cost... estimated time = 6:30pm sound OK?? That would let the 5pm traffic clear just a bit... or... one of the "locals" make a call on the time with ALL the local info available.

Good to get back on-line and back in the net. Travels have had me pinned down.

Okay, Could somebody take charge here and summerize what's what for the week-ends schedule.

? Fri

? Sat

What I am putting together after kazillion emails is that Fri evening is something going on at the Notel Motel. And Sat evening is at the C-Dory's new facility in Auburn.

We are staying overnight Sat.

OK I will try to fill in some of the blanks

Several people have made reservations for Thursday thru Sunday Most are set for Friday and Saturday and a few will be just Saturday
Friday evening we will try to get something going in the Hotel. they have told us that we may not have alcohol in the Lobby anteroom but may be able to have use of one of the small conference rooms. My vote is for a very impromptu get to know each other evening and possibly order in some pizzas .
Saturday will be a day at the Boat Show and then we will meet in the evening at the C-Dory factory for a party and gathering . C-Dory will give us a tour of the new facilities and host the evening.

I am contemplating going to the Hawthorn Thursday afternoon and will be there to welcome our early arivals and make sure everything is set .Friday I will go to the Boat Show at opening and be back to the Hawthorn in the afternoon .
We tried to get the Hawthorn to set up a van to take us to the show but they could not do it. they gave us a couple of names of companies that we are going to contact to see what it would cost for us to get shuttled to and from the Boat Show. My question to you all is would there be any interest in this if the price is right.

P.S.
I have gotten several pm's and Emails wondering about Boat Show tickets and if the C-Dory company is providing any.
I personaly don't expect the company to do this. If they come thru with some , Great, but having us to the factory for a hosted evening is way more than I could expect from them at this time when they just got thru with a move and working the Boat Show and making boats.
I want to Thank the C-Dory Company for helping us out with our CBSBSC and making a great product.
See you all at the Boat Show and C-Brat Festivities.

Roger
I want to join you in thanking C-Dory for hosting at the factory.
Yes, we would be interested in a shuttle to the boat show, "if the price is right." That would sure beat the traffic and parking.
Also a BIG thanks to you for all you have done to pull this off. :thup

Roger: O have you right up there with George W for all your work, efforts and time on this. Koodos!!! :thup :thup Your message flow was the exact flow as I have understood things to be. I too think that a shuttle might be worth while. Not sure what parking is around the Seattle Boat Show, but in Atlanta, you can plan on around $20 a vehicle if you want your tires, wheels etc upon your return. At the same time, I will have a full size rental car, and TODAY known good 3 cheeks for the seats including me. So, interior room for two more would be do-able, then we could always go for the trunk and/or bungee cord on the roof or trunk from there if the weather is nice and we have the need. Aint like I have never bungee corded family members for a ride before, even if we did have spot lights and shotguns... Without the shotgun, they could even hold on with both hands and not worry about slipping off in a turn while shooting. Look forward to seeing your Thursday. Mike and Brenda will arrive from Nashville on SW around 330pm, and I will arrive around 530, get baggage/rental car, then head to the designated C-Dory Billeting Hotel we have reservations... my guess would be around 630-730pm depending on the many factors of airport and Friday Seattle traffic.

Okay, Okay, OK Ok ....

You talked us into it. We'll be there! Looking at the signup sheet - there are a ton of C-Dory owners coming. So, we can't miss this one for sure. We look forward to saying hello to everyone that we haven't met yet, and maybe share a few martinis with the ones we've already met?

I have a feeling that my retirement budget is about to get blown away

An idea what time the event at the C-Dory factory will begin?

Susan and I will be at the boat show on saturday and then to the factory after . where is the factory?? should i bring something, potato salad, bannana bread? what time??

Not sure, but I think Snoqualmie Falls is supplying the beer (this part I know for sure) and C-Dory is providing some kind of eats...

The address of the factory is 25 37th St. NE Auburn, WA 98002, but it would be great if somebody could describe where this is and how to get there...

Good Call on the "what to look for" when looking for the factory Pat. I know for one I will be looking for it more than likey after dark unless I take an early morning Friday RECON from the hotel. Thanks for the re-do on the address too. I can plug that into some map software and get a general start. Man, looking forward to this trip. Byrdman

Hi Brats,

We have added our name to the sign-up list and are looking forward to seeing everyone (and the new catamaran) at the boat show and party.

Larry and Nancy

Is there still going to be a swap meet at the factory becouse i have a truck load of stuff to bring. spare tanks, switches , rollers, a auto oiler for 2 strokes, etc...

Well, flying in so my "stuff" to brinig will be very limited. Just in case this happens, I will bring a fuel level indicator censor I got for my starboard side fuel tank. Brand new in the carton.

So I was thinking. Some of the people coming to the SBS are new to the area. If weather permits I am offering a day cruise from Anacortes into the San Juans for two people on Friday. Anacortes is about 70 miles north of Seattle.
If there is anyone else up for this?

Fred

Fred- I'd certinly be interested in going along if there's room and the numbers work out. I can come up early easily to make the cruise as necessary. Let me know what I can bring along if the details work out! Thanks!!! Joe. Sea Wolf
