01/14/05-01/16/05 - Seattle Boat Show and C-Brat Convention

SENSEI (Roger),

I would like to reserve a studio for my wife and I for Friday and Saturday night. I hope you folks don't mind a person that has not purchased one yet joining you. I'm almost there and getting ready to order one (in fact I may order it before the show).

Let me know if there is a problem with my wife and I joining into the group.

this is how it will go. On monday I will get together with our friend and get things figured out and then I will post the info here. It will be up to each of you to call and make reservations. we have to get the Hotel to set it all up and so Monday will be the earliest that we will be able to get it done.
thanks for the input thus far and it looks like we will definatly be over the 10 rooms so we will be able to get the better fare.
I believe that they said it would be 69.00 for studio and 79.00 for the 2 bedroom. I will have all the actual costs on
monday hopefully.
 
Roger/Sensei: Thanks for your help on the rooms. Put me down for the $79 with two rooms. If my brothers are not able to get off and join me, I feel sure someone else can and we split the room cost up. Thanks!

For those of you looking for Boat Show parking, in the past if you bought your ticket on line you got free parking in the Mariner's lot. So, if you end up buying a ticket or two, be sure to get the parking pass at the same time!
 
In a short time there have been a lot of people committing to rooms for the Boat show.
There have also been some great thoughts PM'd to me about what we should do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your help and I want to say that we definitely have enough rooms commited , and so I will try to get everything set up tomorrow and get back to you all with the details.
The planning is going well and the CBC is looking good.

Man, this guy is singing already about the SBS. Wait until a couple hours into the CBC and see if he livens his tune up any! I am real glad you will be there. You sound like someone I might be able to get along with.

Roger, thank you bunches for taking charge here! Keep us posted, early and often, on any ideas for the CBC. You get my vote, no matter what you come up with. (Uh oh - I hope he has all his crops in before we get there!)
 
Roger: I have a go for the boat show. Just waiting for the phone number/name/location of the hotel. I will want one of the 2 br suites at the $79... I had forgotten about a SW Airline round trip that I still have paid for "in the bank" due to changing conditions during our deployment... No refund...but the money is still green and good for any other flights.. Wow.. that is almost as good as food stamps... I can not wait.

Hey Roger ! Thanks for your help... was looking for that hotel name/number as to allow us to call and set our room reservations... Holding my breath on the east side... WOW, can not believe I am finally going to get to a SBS.... :lol: :beer :thup

I tried to take care of all this this morning but alas, the person at the motel that I need to talk to is in meetings all day so we have a date to conference call tomorrow morning.

I know you all, are chomping at the bit to get signed in but it will just have to wait another day. after some of the problems last year getting the discounted rate for everyone I want to do it right. so bear with me and we will only have to make one call instead of several because things wern't put into the computer right.
 
Target On Roger! With you all the way with getting it right 1st round down range. .... so I will get out the Sounding Magazines I have had for years and just ponder the SBS articles.... :mrgreen:
 
We will probably not stay at a hotel for the Boat Show or CBC but sure want to attend the party! What is the scoop on that? Where is it going to be?
