here is the info that Jeff Messmer sent to me this morning.it is copied from a notification to all participants displaying at the show

It’s official! The 2006 Seattle Boat Show dates are now January 6 – 14. The Seattle Seahawks win yesterday clinched a first round bye for them in the NFL playoffs. Today we will update our website with the new dates, send a press release to all media,
 
Lloyds, I think we're talking apples and oranges. U W won the Womens NCAA, National Championship by zapping Nebraska 3 zip in the final.

Thanks for the update on the SBS dates, Jan 6-14. Hey, thats getting close and we're ready! Tickets should be available now.
 
I hate to be a grinch, but, I was looking at the SBS web site and the fine print at the bottom says that if the playoff game is the be held the 14th, the show will close on Friday...they should move the game to Cheney or the UW field or San Antonio
 
This is wreaking havoc with my plans, not to mention the accomodations. What is everyone going to do? If it closes friday is the factory function still on on saturday night?

And they are supposed to be taking online orders for tickets today... I'll have to check back later I guess.
 
OK, I have made all the changes to airline tickets and car rentals I can. Will be in San Diego and hope to get together with the "locals" who are preping for the February San Diego gathering at some marina on some day/afternoon/eveing of 29-31Dec depending on folks schedule. Going to knock around Los Angeles, CA from 2-7Jan06, flying up to Seattle on 8Jan06, hooking up with Roger Johnson and family...and will be between the Johnson's home and "The C-Dory" hotel and boat show. Now, not sure when we will travel back down to Seattle, but I want a couple of few days at the show to look at things. For sure going to be at the Friday night Hotel gathering, and will be at what ever the C-Dory plant puts on too.

How many out of towners are going to stay at the hotel thru Sunday night and depart on Monday??? I am, I think Charlie and Terry are.... We could have a great time at the hotel on Sunday in the same room we gather in on Friday night much cheaper than the cost (around $250 each) of the tickets alone... but... I have never made a pro game...

I am way flexible.... does anyone have tickets to the game yet??

Good morning all you C-brats
the Seahawk playoff game is tentatively planned for sunday the 15th so the last day of the show would be saturday the 14th and closing at 6:00 pm. the gala at the factory is still on trac for 6:30 sat evening. the friday party at the motel is also still on trac for friday evening around 5:30 or 6:00 pm start. or later if so inclined. it will go till we get kicked out...lol... (we can always break off into smaller groups if we have to)
NOW, the hitch is that the Networks have the final say as to who plays what day so there is still the possibility of the Seahawks playing on Saturday. if that happens, then the show would end on friday evening.this will in no way change the plans for the parties we have planned

OK , anyone that needs tickets for the boat show that will need them prior to Thursday evening,(i should have a handfull of tickets at the motel for anyone needing them on friday or sat.) Jeff has asked me to post that they would help us out by either mailing you tickets or putting them into Willcall at the stadium for you to pick up there.All you will need to do is email Kasey@c-dory.com and give her your name ,address and how many tickets you need and how you want them handled.Kasey is on vacation till the 26th so she will not respond to emails till then.

I am going down to the motel on thursday to finalize the arrangements for our party room and get any info we might need. Untill then, ya'll have a wonderful day

Thanks Roger!! What is Jeramiha doing about going to the show? If I go back down on Tuesday or Wednesday for the show he is more than welcome to join me.... I promise I will not keep him up no later than we were up at Blakely.

Jeremiah has to work through friday afternoon so I am not sure what he is up to.I am seriously thinking that I will be going down earlier than I was planning and go to the show wed.& thur.. I will talk to the motel about upping my room one day and see what happens.

Crapola! Just ordered our tickets online, so guess I am contributing $21 to the SBS...seems I did the same thing last year, when will I learn (Patty, YOU are not allowed to answer that!!!!)

Well if the $21 includes a day of parking and a magazine subscription I think it is well spent ;)

I'm really looking forward to the CBGT!
 
Ok, I'm still confused about the dates on this. I got an email from the boat show a couple of days ago soliciting my ticket business. The calendar said "Closed" on Saturday the 14th. Is the schedule still up in the air, or are the Seahawks definitely playing on Sunday?
