01/13 - 01/15 - Seattle Boat Show/C-Brat Convention

Thanks to all for your offers and ideas. I have no idea how things will go, but, in the for what it is worth arena, I will call Southwest today and find out about monies spent on the 4 tickets I now have. I "should" be able to just leave the money spent in their account until needed....of which one ticket price would be for a flight up from LAX to SEA on or around 8Jan06. Bottom line, today I own 4 tickets....and I really need 3....I had rather just kick about the area (west coast area) rather than flying back and forth from an extra time that week. Watching all events...etc real close.... to include the completion dates of Scaley's ....or BobCat's TC255.... WOW I want to play on one of those a bit.

Roger,

Another great job this year! Hope it isn't all for not cuz it was a gooood time last year!

Just reserved a room for Friday and Saturday and am lucky I don't have to worry about plane tickets, only have to consider the road conditions for a hop over the hill from the east side of the mountains.

For those who may be needing a ride between the hotel, show and factory, I will be available. I will be able to take 4 if I have my 4-door pickup or 6 if I can con my wife into letting me use her suburban. I will leave Leavenworth (not the pen in Kansas for those out of staters) and plan on being in Kent at the hotel by 11 AM on Friday.

Since I started my fire service career in that area, I am quite familier with the surroundings and could be a tour guide to anyone interested.

If the NFL doesn't mess things up too much, see ya all in about 5 weeks!

Phooey! Can't even get tickets online at the moment - durn ol' Seahawks anyway! (Cut and paste follows). Help me out here - why does it matter what the dates are if I want to buy tickets, I THOUGHT the only issue was whether our CBGT was going to be the first weekend or last weekend of the Boat Show...

Order Tickets Online - Coming Soon

Due to the great season the Seattle Seahawks are having, the dates for the Seattle Boat Show, including the Lake Union Boats Afloat Show may change. Once we have the dates for the show confirmed, we will begin selling e-tickets.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please check the website for updates.

The individual tickets might be date specific in which case they would have to have the show dates set before selling them. They have had a pass in the past that was inclusive of all the dates but they may hold off on all tickets until they have firmly established the show dates.

Good evening all
It was a glorious day on the water today, as long as we had the wallas going....lol....
Everything is progressing well with the plans for the gathering. I discussed the timing for the party at the factory with Jeff and his suggestion was
"The Saturday evening bash will start at 6:30 with drinks and appetizers, dinner at 7:00. "

on another note, Jeff is offering to anyone coming to the party , the chance to purchase C-Dory coats and pick them up at the factory during the party. here is what he sugested
We can have them e-mail the size that they want and offer them for $40.00. This is the navy jacket with the C-Dory embroidery and inner liner. Orders can be e-mailed to Kasey@c-dory.com
OK, this is my up date for this week. hope to see more people on Lindas list that she gives me each week with the reservations.
see you all soon

Thanks Roger! My reservations are in the room with Terry from North Alabama...... I mean New York. Picking him up at the airport on Thursday12Jan06. Flight arrival times of his are unclear to me at this time..but we have some time yet.

I'm happy to say I am now a WA resident, within boating distance to the Boat Show, now in Port Townsend.

I had hoped to get to the show last winter, but will be there for sure this year.

What a joy to be able to boat year round here!

SBS Gathering,

Following up on my threat, I'll be arriving on the 13th and leaving on the 15th to meet y'all and visit Dive Cat. Staying on the boat isn't working out, so I left a message for Linda.

Snagged a really cheap SWA fare before Seattle wins another one today.

Lookin' forward to this Big Event. I'm leaving myself wide open for comments here, but I'll ask if anyone needs anything carried up from So Cal anyway.

Bob Cat

Hey there Bobcat
It will be good to see you at the grand gathering we have planned...lol...
as far as bringing anything, it is totaly up to you....lol...
as for the Oregon gang, us WA people are not able to purchase the Stone Wolf wine up this way so if any of you want to bring a bottle up it would be greatly appreciated...lol...

Well, we were all waiting for the melt-down - is it happening right now in Tennesee? (It is half-time right now, Seattle has just allowed 14 points in six minutes after the blocked field goal, and shows NO signs of waking up...)

The Seahawks appear to be giving new meaning to "bend, but not break".
Sometimes they're not too pretty, but they are finding ways to close the deal.

Next week will be interesting, but tough to call. With the Colts getting beat by San Diego today they may be resting a few players for the playoffs and Seattle may do the same, although I think to a lesser degree.

It looks like the NFL and the SBS actually can co-exist.

Go Hawks!

How about the UW Volleyball team winning the National Championship with a sweep of 6 teams and 18 consecutive tournament games! Now thats a big deal!

So.... what is the word on when tickets will go on sale? Going to be out there and right now I do not fly back until Robert E. Lee day Monday, 16Jan06.... Might as well take in my 1st Pro game...?

Tickets anyone?

Byrdman

Well alrighty then! If Peter says so, who am I to disagree? Go Seahawks! But didn't they have you just a LITTLE worried there for a while?

Last year's team would have folded and lost this game. This year's Seahawks are going all the way!!

I am guessing playoff tickets will be a little hard to come by...first choice goes to season ticket holders, probably a very limited number to the general public. Anybody know the straight scoop on this?

3rd. byte: It was the University of Portland that won the national championship, again. What makes it even more cool, U of P is a very small catholic school, with a very strong girls soccer program. That little school beating up on the pac 10 is very satisfying.
