01/13 - 01/15 - Seattle Boat Show/C-Brat Convention

pat what program did you do that in. I have never tried makeing a collage before ,but it looks like fun. I have not posted any of our summer photos to the Susan E album yet but have lots of goood pic of everyones boats. guess I will have to get of my butt and get to it.

I used Freehand ...exported to a JPG for this post, probably either export to Photoshop or a high res TIF burned to a CD to get it printed...you can probably do exactly the same thing with half a dozen programs, like Photoshop, Illustrator, and more than likely Corel Draw...

OK, as was pointed out to me, my collage had no 'tweeners (CD19s). And I had a duplicate pic, so now there is a CD19 in the upper right hand corner. I did this 4' x 5', which is probably WAY too big...what is a reasonable size for a collage? 2' x 3'? 3' x 4'?

If you go with 20" x 30", you can get it printed on photograph paper for $18-$23and have it shipped within a couple of days and it will fit in a poster sized picture frame for durability. In addition, if you went to a place like Kodak's Easy Share Gallery, we could order T-shirts ($15), long sleeve sweat-shirts ($30), aprons ($20), tote bags($25) and even mugs and coasters all with the collage on them (I don't think it would look good on the smaller format items).

What ever you do, it would be cool if we could get access to a high res file when you're done so that we could all order a print, T-shirt etc. with it on.

Good work!

hi all well berta and dave are planning on going!!!
though we may be rookies we are looking forward to meeting everyone and learning more about our cdory!!!
hope to see ya soon

Watching with antisipation...and having to go slow on this trip. I need to save up for 2 trips a year to the left side. One for sure is when Scaley get's his boat and does a gathering, and the second I may wait until next years Blakely gathering.

But, do not think for a minute that I have not thought about possibly dragging FreeByrd back cross-country, shining her up a bit and putting her up forsale over on the west side to allow me to start looking harder at the TC255. Much more C-Dory traffic on the left side rather than down and over here on the southern right hand side...

Had a blast at this trip last year and truly up in the air at this time.

Could you Left Coasters put up with another Right Coaster at this shindig??? I'm facing a long cold winter and need something to look forward to in Jan. Can't bring white hots that far but may be able to bring a couple bottles of RED :cat,an ERIE Canal cruise favorite.
What do you think?
