Ok all
I know it is only September/October but we should seriously start thinking about Our favorite January social event/gathering. :beer :cocktail The dates for the show are the 13th thru the 22nd of January 2006.
We need to think about the weekend we want to have it. I personally like the opening weekend which would be Jan.13,14,15, 2006
If we get a consensus of the timeframe I will be able to get Linda (the Travel Desk) started working on the hotel & accommodations.

Sheesh! I really don't think the Beer Guys should go, we would each have to buy a new TC255 - and Jim and Laurie should probably stay home to be safe too!

Seriously, first weekend is fine, count us in, and if C-Dory is hosting at the factory again, we'll hide the keg in the bushes just like last year...

That Seattle boat show is just one helluva fine way to spend a weekend in the winter, wouldn't miss it. What ever weekend it ends up being works for us.

Mr Fisherman --

We sure don't mind if you come to the boat show -- and we'd be doubly pleased if you just happened to bring along that special 'blow torch' appetizer --

Hmmmmmm, this looks like Bill & El are plannin on bein at the show too......lol....
I think that there should be a seminar of living on a 22 ft.boat and the expert speakers could be Bill & El.

I'm plannin' on being there too, primarily to see/meet with the DustyOne :thup but also to commune with all the Left Coast folks I haven't met but have been priviledged to meet on this wonderful site.

Any recommendations on a motel, preferably halfway betwixt the show and the Dusty homesite? (Whidby) Not sure of the dates coming and going yet but at least two nights. Will rent wheels when I get there. Spent some great times in Seattle when I had to yank the Battleship Missouri out of Bremerton and reactivate it at Long Beach Naval Shipyard but have not been there in the last 10 years or so.

But that would put two VERY nice and VERY NEARLY new 25's on sale for those of use with 22's.... So I say show up, drink heavily and bring your checkbook.....

Roger...opening weekend sounds good to me...and so glad to hear you and travel agent Linda are putting this one together again...you did such a fabulous job last year. And here's my vote for the same hotel as last year...it was fantastic.

We're signed up...and I warned the boss yesterday that even though I won't have been there long enough to get any vacation time, I HAVE TO take one or two days off in January (he grinned and went back to work -- don't get me started LOL).
