About 50 yrs ago dad used to always carry 1 or 2 spike like things with a flag on it that we would put into a floating snag. Don't remember where he got them but they become more visable to boaters and those that removed them.

We have used one of the No-Spill recovery containers for yrs. Work great. Also when we think we are getting near full we put our ear down by the hose fill and listen. On our Tomcat we can hear when the rushing of the fuel changes sound and we stop......that means we are at least to near the top...

I notice on the transom to the right of the engine at the waterline there is, what looks like a white, sliding block with transducer attached. Can anyone tell me where one could get the specs and where to purchase? Nice looking boat. Thanks for any response. Ted

On our Lowrance install instructions it indicated that even with the gps off there was still a small battery draw. They recommended that a switch be installed......we did that.

Had to go to the boat this AM and while I was there thought I would check out if my 90hp Hondas 2009 would change the hr meter with JUST the key on. They did and now I have the solution for bringing my hr meters in zinc with one another . (Left one of the keys on once). Thanks for bringing...

Re. The water in the bilge, I would take a hose or bucket of water and pour it thru the scupper and check if that causes water going into the bilge......maybe a hole or tear in one of the scupper tubes.
