    Cam Guard

Todays major Oils don't need any extra Additives. By adding stuff to the Oil you throw the Additive Package out of balance which can do more bad than good! Use good Oil and change often. What does the Engine Manufacturer recommend? Cheers, Peter.

    Gas Prices

Gas in Canada is sold in Liters. One Liter of gas is $1.259 where I live. That makes it Can.$ 4.76 per US Gal. A 20 Cent/ per L incease would make it Can.$ 5.52 per US Gal. I paid US $4.35/US Gal. in Alaska last fall. I don't like the high prices either but as long as we keep bying Gas, the oil...

    Tow vehicle axle question.

I would go with the limited slip. Don't really know how e- lock works but electronic lock sounds to me like another source of problems. I had a F-250 2x4 - limited slip for 28 years. Hauled lots of wood out of the bush and carried a set of chains. Limited Slip will lock the axle momentarily...

Since you asked- 9.9 versus 15 kicker

That was interesting reading. How do I figure out the size of motor for my 19' Angler? What do I need to overcome strong wind and rough water on Yukon Lakes? And where should it be mounted? On the transom or on a bracket? Thanks, Peter.
