    Deep Diving Inline Spinner

Our bigger fish (hybrid, white, striped, largemouth) bass are at 20-40 feet the hybrid & striped on occasion to 60. This drops 2ft/sec. so you can do your counts. Add more wire length for toothier fish or heavier sinker for more depth, bigger willow if you want more flash. First cast with the...

C-Dory Buyer's Guide (covered all of it)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCIjkHzEEgU Hard to believe it has been 11 years since we made this for the new buyer and now friend Dave in Iowa. There was one stipulation to the deal - we had to bring it and go boating with him - show him how to get the most out of it. We started out from...

    THANK YOU DR. BOB

I am also grateful for you staying on the forum. The difference between you and many we meet in life is you have "walked the talk." Much respect for that. Connie and I also pray everyone in the path of hurricane danger remains safe. Happy voyaging! Matt & Connie Mattson C-Dawg-E (sold)...

Help for a sailor looking to convert?

I would second Thataway's comment on trailering. Our 22 went from Hernando Beach Florida to Washington State multiple times. While you might not think of it now, after purchase you'll be thinking of all the places it will allow you to go - water or not. We've been camped out in desert and...

    Air Fryer Pizza

You're welcome. The pizza is simply a super quick way to get to Roman style pizza on the lunch hour. We've cut them into mini slices and used for appetizers as well - a unique presentation. Connie's fish - you're going to like that - been a hit everywhere for years. Happy eating!

    Air Fryer Pizza

That is funny. Connie managed a couple of fried chicken joints and had to go to school on the frying process so she's got the method down - anyway, when friends would ask "where's the best seafood restaurant in town" we'd say: our place - come on over . . . Now we're on a reservoir with the...

    Air Fryer Pizza

In case you’ve forgotten what an old fishing cabin fish fry was like: First you need to catch some fresh fish in this case 8 speckled perch (crappie) similar consistency to flounder, perch, any other flakey white meat fishes are also suitable and will crisp just fine. Once filleted or bought...

Flasher Knocker Trolling Rig - How To Make

If you make one of these, use an appropriate leader especially for toothy fish. I used 6 feet wire or cable (usually wire - worked better for me) to this lure. EZ to make - good luck with getting a big one! https://youtu.be/JyWyuVrRCUE

    Air Fryer Pizza

https://youtu.be/SaqvRz3vuCA 1. Old El Paso Tortillas in appropriate size. I'm using a Cuisinart TOA-60 that takes up to 14" (Large) These do make a difference, the higher fat content makes them air fry crisp when just browned. 2. Air fry in your basket - middle rack - 425º -Air Fry - 6 minutes...

Anyone Using A Tractor To Dunk?

Now that looks like serious business!

Anyone Using A Tractor To Dunk?

When we first lived in Hernando Beach (early 60's) the boat ramp was next to the house and we had a Ford 8N with a ball on the front - sure made it handy. By 1970 they'd bulldozed the ramp and sold the lot - the current public ramp was too far away so that ended. A few tractors of the past...

Friends Don't Let Friends Eat Sausage Casings

Looks like the sausage maker didn't make it through Covid Pat. Butcher-packer did though.

Friends Don't Let Friends Eat Sausage Casings

Really can't disagree with that or the above. Now that I no longer make it, it's probably past time to give up the whole sausage deal. No telling what's in the commercial stuff.

Friends Don't Let Friends Eat Sausage Casings

I'll admit I was pretty clueless on this until my brother in law educated me on this stuff (whatever it is). I would unwrap sometimes - sometimes not. Since looking into his claims, I'm fanatical about it now - I de-skin all commercial stuff (natural casings are rarer and rarer). The local...

    What not to do

It happens. Those bunks can get very slick especially with a boat used a lot. The two Whaler Walkarounds I ran I used to launch solo because after unhooking the chain, a gentle nudge and they'd slide right down the bunks as if greased (and actually they are water+oils all it takes).

Largemouth Bass Spawning Cycle UW Video

https://youtu.be/rRoyYnkf8V4 Hope you are enjoying the CD life! We sure love it here in Alabama, the lake (800+ miles shoreline + Chattahoochee River system) is plenty big, but the downside is the creek here has a bridge even a CDory can't get under. Oh well. I sure had my share of...
