I am actively looking at the C Dory for use in NC on the ICW. I need to get into some pretty skinny water, 9-12" at times. Is this possible the 25'. Would a kicker help?? Thanks' Ed

about to buy a C Dory

thanks for the timely responses. I see I'm in the right place. I'll most likely go for the 22 with the single 90 since this is my first transition to a power boat ( own an Endevour 33 sailboat now.) BTW, I spent 6 yrs in Seattle at UW. Both my kids were born there. ericciar

about to buy a C Dory

I am on The ICW in NC and need a boat for cruising up the often choppy ICW and Cape Fear river as weel as into the shallows to go to the spoil islands. Looking at the 22 cruiser and 25. Also, feel safe in a 22 with 1 engine 10 miles out or should I go with the twin 50s?? Thanks ericciar
