We just sold "Life of Riley" but want to come visit with you all, as we have enjoyed 5 different C-Dory boats over the last 25 years and leaving boating life, so we will be bringing lots of stories but no boat this year. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones...

There are only 2 things needed for a mechanically good motor to work, fuel and fire. To eliminate one means reducing your problem by 1/2. As others suggested, pull a plug, reconnect the wire to it, and with a thick rubber glove and in relative shade/darkness ground it solidly to the motor...
