FOR SALE: this is the trailer I was using with ARGO. It is a 2000 24' tandem galvanized Majic Tilt trailer. I put it on Craigslist for $1499.00 but will consider a reasonable offer.

ARGO sitting on the new to me Float On trailer. I still have a couple smaller things to do to it but it is basically done and trails down the road very well. Took it the scales twice to get it balanced right and the right weight on the tongue which required me to move both axles back 9".

To get the bunk high enough to clean the fender well and to help support the brackets in the front as they hang over the frame I used 1/2" alum shims.

Relocated bunk brackets

Added a tool box to the front

Removed the old bunks so I can relocate the brackets

No, they told me they only sell thru their dealers. Plus in my case I will have about 1/2 as much invested by reduing this trailer than if I bought a new one.

The net trailer capacity weight is 8200 and the 24's max running weight is 6800#s so I have room to spare there. I measured the height of the brackets and they vary from low in the back to higher in the front by 2.5". I'm guessing that is normal on all cat trailers as it is that way on both...

I talked to Tim about a month ago and he seemed to only be familar with the 255 TC but not the 24 TC. I called again today and they are going to have John the production manager call me to discuss it with me. I did buy the trailer this morning though.

I am considering buying a used Float On trailer to replace my Majic Tilt trailer for my 24' TomCat. It will require modifications but is do able. I would be interested in any comments about Float On trailers for my 24TC
