I towed 10k before with a 2009 dodge ram 1500. Same truck, different transmission. It does do it, it won't be happy. I generally don't recommend it. It really needs weight distribution equipment but that's hard to accommodate on a boat trailer. I'd have ran the F350 overweight, but YMMV.

I got it done. Sure was more hassle than I expected to deal with for changing it twice a day but it works. I had to bang pretty hard to get the pins in the holes. Even then they aren't lined up perfect for full insertion but are holding.

Does it require a screwdriver to remove the table post? What goes in it's place to hold the table lower? Does it just rest on the ledges? I'll look for said latch. That's probably what's holding me back if I can find it. Surprisingly, none of this is in the owners manual.

Do I need the smartpump, or will the 1.2l do fine? What are the benefits and drawbacks? It's something like a $800 difference.

Is there a way to interface that to the reactor 40? The ideal is not only to have control hopefully also from the wireless remote so I can use it as a makeshift cockpit steering station or quickly slow down for a large wake, but also, the ability to maintain a very set speed while trolling...

What about controlling the throttle on the main? Is it not possible to use the GPS speed (or water speed) to control trolling speed without manual adjustments? Or do you need to start and use the kicker for this?

Has anyone installed a Reactor 40 autopilot into a C-dory 22? If so, which model did you use? They make specimens from $1200 to... $4k. Is the product the same over the years if I end up with a Craigslist special? Can the Reactor 40 control throttle/trolling speed or is that asking too much?

"How often will you use the boat during that time?" Hopefully every couple weeks? We'll see, I've never done this. "Will the boat be in fresh water or trailered the rest of the time?" Trailered, but curious how this is important as long as there's a period where it's cleaned and dried...

My single-axle surge break trailer has no brake fluid in it. I added some, but there's no obvious way to actuate and bleed the brakes (even though I see a bleeder valve). How do I bleed them and hopefully get this working again? Did I mention I hate surge brakes? Half tempted to replace them...

If I were to put the boat at a Marina in the Puget Sound for 60-90 days, do I need bottom paint before doing so? Or can I get away without it?
