I am making tentative plans for a trip to Bimini in May (2009). Is anyone interested in taking their boat across at the same time. Wave and wind conditions, for an easy crossing, appear to be best from May through July. Making an open ocean voyage (especially when crossing the Gulf Stream)...

Can anyone recommend the best place (Marina) to launch a boat and store the car/trailer for a trip to Bimini. I am interested in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area or sites further north as long as the distance from launch ramp to Bimini is not excessive. Thanks, Ernie S.
