    Looking at towing (RIB) tender.

I'm thinking about getting a 9-11 foot RIB with a 9.9 hp 4-stroke. I like the idea of the hard bottom inflatable. I'd be looking at towing it on longer trips and was wondering if anyone had info on what it's like to tow an inflatable. What kind of speeds can I tow at? Will I see a decrease in...

    23' 2006 Venture on Yachtworld

Might be old news, but I see a 2006 23' Capecruiser on Yachtworld for $54900. It's in the Washington area. Dave

Do you have a crab trap puller?

If so what kind? Is there any advantage of one over another? I see pullers by Brutus, Ace and EZ. If you have one and could do it over again would you prefer a different one?

    Not a Brat.

Well, I finally made the plunge and bought a boat. I picked up a 2001 Atlas Acadia 25 so my wannabe brat days are over. Thanks for answering all my questions in the past and happy safe boating to all of you. Dave.

This is a great site for all small boat owners.

I don't currently own a C-Dory or any boat for that matter. I had my heart set on a 22 cruiser for over a year until I actually got on one at a boat show. Much to my dismay I found the 22' way too tight for me inside. The cabin height was good, but not much room at table or steering station...

    Fish and shellfish ID.

Hi again. Just wondering what references you folks use for IDing your catch of the day. Favorite books??? Suggested references? Thanks.

    Charts

A few questions about paper charts even though electronic is so good these days. Do you carry paper charts onboard always? Do you makes notes or marks on them as changes are posted as NOTMARs or add printed notices?

    C-Dory cabin size.

Looking at pics here doesn't really give me true insight into cabin size. More presisely the amount of room for an overweight fella at the table. Or even behind the wheel for that matter. Are there any larger ( though i'm sure good lookin' and sexy) boaters out there who can let me know how...

    The perfect boat.

I can see from my months of reading threads here that putting together the perfect Dory package is going to be a daunting task. I see a great idea one day and another very different idea the next. It's looking like I'll never get it right on the first go around and will be changing and adding to...

I know it's early for this, but...

I see the Seattle boat show is on from Jan 24- Feb.2 2008. Is this event worthwhile attending? I was wondering if the C-Dory display is worth the drive out there? Any dealer sales at the show that could be tempting? It works best for me if I have lots of advance notice for booking time off work...

    Do you fish alone?

I was wondering how many out there boat or fish solo. I can see retirement will offer many opportunities to get out on my own. Can the 22' be off loaded and loaded on the trailer single handedly? Any solo horror stories out there that need to be shared? Thanks.

    Kicker question.

Ok... so, I think I'm of a mind to go with a single engine when I get a 22 C-Dory. I just like the idea of one prop, less steering gear. and better fuel economy. My next question is how big a kicker to use? I was thinking a 15 or 20 hp would get a fella to shore if the main quit. Is that too big...

    A quick hello

Hi folks. Just wanted to say a quick hi to the group and say thanks for all the info I've pulled from these pages in the last few months. I'm a 54 year old C-Dory newbie wannabe owner from Alberta Canada. I'm looking seriously at the 22 cruisers and I'm pretty sure that's my beast of choice...
