Have you ever been here?
I have sold a good number of boats in my time and have a few good stories to tell.
The worst ones are people who never owned a boat of any kind. They've spent a day with a friend on some boat. Then they call and give you a time and day when they want to look your boat...
We are so saddened to read this news about Roger. We just saw Roger and Cheryl a few weeks ago when we moved his C-Dory for him. We drive by it every day that we go to the post office and noticed it'd be moved to the back end of the property where he leaves it here in Bow. Oh my! Joe has...

This C-Brat group sure is a lot of fun! This month started out with Will and his 26 foot Nordic Tug. Real nice looking boat. Ruthie, Will and I made a trip up to the C-Dory factory----Man, are they building a lot of C-Dory's
Then I celebrated the BIG ONE ----- 80th birthday and heard from...
This morning we met up with Brock (aka Catman) at Twin Bridges. Al and Karen (previous owners of 3 C-dory's and 1 Venture) were there, too. Brock was preparing to take his first journey in his 2017 23 Venture.
A beautiful boat and very well built. Ah, that smell of new fiberglass is...
Due to a lot of different circumstances we were only able to come down to the Seattle Boat Show Saturday morning and stay for a short time. We would have loved to attend the potluck. However, we did get to see a few C-Brats while we were there. Wonderful surprise seeing Lyle and Shelley. Had...
We were there the night Jonathan was born. I held him in my arms and kissed him on the forehead. I said a little silent prayer----God, please don't let him be killed or wounded in some damn war we don't intend to win---There is a little bit of me out there on that football field. The willingness...
The 22 foot C-Dory, R-Matey, and its spirited crew, old farts, departed Everett Friday morning for Tacoma. Our grandson was playing on the Lynden football team against Sedro Woolley for the Washington State A2 Championship, in the Tacoma Dome. Sorry to say that Lynden lost to Sedro Woolley...

With excitement in their voices, the ladies would say, "We met a woman boating all alone out there" and I would say, "Why, yes!, That's Captain Robbi"
Happy Birthday, Captain Robbi!

We had a great week with our C-Brat friends :thup On Monday we met with Captain Jim and Joan (Wild Blue) when they came over on their Scoots. Lunch at the Olive Garden, sharing adventures.
Wednesday we were just back across the border at Blaine and I reminded Ruthie to turn the :phone back...
FINALLY :thup :thup
Our 93 C-Dory 22 Cruiser is ready to be launched this next week. As I have said before she is NOT or will she ever be a beauty queen. I have had the fluff and puff of some nice boats in the past. This old gal should get us there and back safely. She came out of Southern...
It was a cold and gray Northwest day when I first laid eyes on her. My first thought was "Oh, Yes!" I would like to get to know you better. I did my best to restrain my feelings and decided to see her again at a later date. It was a couple of weeks before I'd see her again. Yah! I was excited...
Ken and Lyn,
Your boat may be gone but the memories will remain for as long as we all exist. You were a joy to be with and a part of the great C-Brat community. Thank you for being there and for the laughs and fun we had. Once a C-Brat --- Always a C-Brat :D

Oh, boy! How nice it was to launch our tug yesterday at the Squalicum Harbor launch ramp. No more creosote pilings. Can't count the times I ended up with sticky black hands when we'd be either launching or retrieving. If you try it, we're sure you're gonna like it :thup
:love :love Hey, you two! Happy Anniversary :love :love Is it 54 years? Don't want to lose count. We're not there yet but working on it.
Many hugs always :love
