Looking for input on as to what my 2002 C Dory should sell for.
Physical problems make it very difficult for me to use the boat. :cry
Thanks for any input you may have.

MY lower door hinge screws have come loose and look to stripped out. The screws are fine the holes are stripped.
What have others done if others have had problems with this to make repairs for something like this.
I sure would like some help.
Thanks Jim
This has been a good month to bust things.
First the antenna now the transducer. Or should I say hunk of junk sticking in the water.
Time to go shopping for a replacement transducer. What is the transducer of choice for a Garmin 2006c? The one I have or had was a Airmar triducer P66 which worked...
Ok I got some good feed back on the antenna question and hope others were able to glean a little info for themselves.
I have the 12 inch extension to put the GPS antenna above the radar but would like to go higher. This would be in the hopes of not cooking the GPS antenna again. I know how...
While backing the boat into my sideyard drive I made the 8 ft. antenna into two 4 ft. antennas. You guessed it half of an 8 ft. antenna just isn't quite right.
Question is what what would you use for a replacement?
The salmon fishing was great just south of Bodega Bay Ca.

Forum on Trim Tabs, Hydrofoils ( June 13,2004)
Talk about putting a guy into a quandary. One person talks about kites another about bad turns and then it’s the dorky look. Then we have the thought of hydrofoils act more to lift the stern and allow the bow to go down. With the tim tabs act more...
Has anyone ever had problems with the GPS screen telling them " waiting for GPS antenna ".
I have the Garmin 2006 C and have talked with the Garmin folks and the folks at West Marine about the message waiting for GPS antenna. Garmin said to reset the thing by holding down on the start and quit...
What is the best way to cook and what cooks best for you?
This would be while on camping trips in your boat, using your boat stove.
Stove ?
Pans ?
BBQ ?
Just a question from the crew of the Catch - 22.

OK now I've been looking in the photo albums at where everyone might keep the fish landing nets.
Either only a few folks fish or those that do must catch such small fish that a net isn't needed
Where do you keep your net while out in you C-Dory? In the rocket launchers on the radar arch...
See page 51 in the Boat U.S. magazine May 2004 and you may find the boat of your dreams. " 25' C-Dory 1978 Freshwater, Johnson O/B, newer spin & cushions. Cradle & trlr. light use $7,995. NY(351)789-8185,"
Just could be a good boat for someone.

Anyone know of other sites that talk about C-Dorys?
C-Brats and C-Dogs are it from what I can see. And yes they are great, just looking for other sites to see what I can see..

The Catch-22 went to Alaska part 1
Cruising the Alaska Inside Passage for 2000 miles and 42 days.
In a 22-foot C Dory boat.
.Part 1. trip in 2003 starting in July
We live in Antioch Ca. and no, we didn’t make the trip all the way in the boat. We (I) had been talking about making the Inside...
Someone must know and it sure isn't me.
Can something other than the ($) Yamaha gear oil be used for the twin 40s on the Catch 22? I don't won't to do any damage but would like to pay lese than $25.00 per gal too. While I'm looking what about the engine oil filters anything less expensave that...
