I like the idea if the liability matters, insurance, whatever can be worked out! Anne

quiet, smooth riding, good gas mileage

A fuel flow meter sounds like it could help. I turn around and look but that is a wild guess, I know. I also notice many boats have a guide that shows the "balance" of the perma trims. I am not sure what the real name is but as I have been experimenting I feel the boat flying way off to the...

quiet, smooth riding, good gas mileage

Perhaps this question arises from traveling to Gatherings that require quite a bit of travel to arrive:-) What is optimum speed for the 22' cruiser for quietness, smooth riding and best mpg? I am wondering what is the best way to experience all of the above? I heard from someone that getting...

extra fuses and bulbs for 22 cruiser

I am hoping someone might have a list put together for extra fuses and bulbs (?) for the current 22' cruisers. I know it is wise to have them along, so am hoping to find a list already done :D Thanks, Anne

    If I were retired........

Well, when I tried this in Google I came up with quite a variety of topics, to put it mildly. Curious minds want to know what is a RG-246? Anne

    All chain rode for CD?

Joe, Do you have trouble with your chain fitting in the box? I've heard that more chain, esp. lots of chain could not possibly fit, let alone with line. Does anyone else have that much chain or more and does yours fit? Thanks, Anne

OK Trying to get CD logo decals

Thanks for the clarification. My new boat does have one on each side. I was thinking of a small sticker that would go on the window, and I have seen one that says C-Brats... Thanks, Anne

    22' come with 2 batteries?

Thanks for the feedback. I know I asked for two batteries and have only one. Next time around I will have a paper trail for everything  My current battery is stored in a plastic battery box on the floor by the pump. The power switch is located in the starboard lazarette. I do not know...

    fuses

The suggestion to look at the manual is helpful! Sometimes I wonder if the variety of information is current, but am going to guess that the fuse list is current. My 08 Cruiser has the Coast Guard capacity plate, which helps with the required list. Also, I am thinking perhaps the gas...

I believe I read on someone's post that our boats come with 2 installed batteries from the factory. Can anyone verify that? Thanks, Anne

    fuses

Does anyone have a list of the fuses to fit the 22' Cruiser? I need to get some for backup and before crawling around in various locations thought some might have a handy list and even a diagram perhaps of where each one goes. A wish, at least  Thanks, Anne

    cleats,fenders and tying up

I have been experimenting with my 22' and wonder where others place the fender lines on the middle (widest) section of our boats? It seems to me that the cleat is too low to be of use with many docks so I am guessing that most folks tie off from the grab rails on top of the boat, correct...

    anchoring problem

Thanks to all of you who responded to my questions about the issue of my anchor not dropping with the windlass. The anchor that would not deploy with my Lewmar windlass is now off the bow of my boat and I have a setup that works. The issue of holes in the fiberglass that would need to be plugged...

about to buy a C Dory

I'm a newbie to power boating and in late Oct. after seeing a friend's 22' cruiser decided to purchase the same model, but with a 90 Suzuki and 9.9 kicker. What a great boat! I purchased the boat new based on hearing that it can be tough to find a used 22 cruiser. (As an aside, since I knew...
