Thanks for the nice compliments guys. It was a lot of trial and error, and total hours. One thing I can do is dimension the sections and add some detailed photos so if someone wanted to take on the same project, they would have a leg up. I had to start with cardboard cutouts.

Mark, A potentiometer is a resistor that you can change the value linearily by turning a knob. In my case I used one that varies from zero to 500K ohm in just 3/4 of a turn. It wasn't an easy thing to build however still well worth the effort. I commend Dave Mason for his desire to build...

Intermittent wiper circuit board. Switch and potentiometer protrude through the console (and secure the circuit board). The two blue components are the relays- one for each wiper.

I concur with Bob about double clamping. I bought my boat new in 2006 and didn't get all my leaks stopped until I double clamped everything.
