Dry fit of final cockpit deck plate. Next mortise and tenon each piece, dry fit again, glue up. Stringers are next. Cabin deck plate--waiting for the other 2 so I can figure out the stringers.

Sounds like the solenoid. You may also want to check that your starter is spinning. Should not hear anything if it was safety switch related.

Cockpit will be teak also. Was thinking about using something more cost effective but then talked myself out of it. Ipe was an early consideration, but i really wanted the teak. Lots of pros and cons between the two.

Love what they did to Tinker Toy. I think i am going with real wood as i want to eliminate the pitch in the deck and create a bilge. I do a lot of spearfishing and crabbing from the boat so it would be good for the cockpit to drain, or at least to not be standing in water. I don't mind...

So I never did order the factory deck plates for the Zoe B, and now am considering putting in a wood deck/grating. I do remember seeing a wood deck on a c-dory in the past, if anyone knows the post or can direct me to the pictures I would appreciate it. Thanks.

The Zoe B had a listing to starboard issue last summer. I found out that water was coming in around the starboard rub rail and pooling in the starboard quarter void. I drilled a hole in the void and it was full--check out my picture of the water draining.

My Honda BF 75 was loosing suction due to a weathered fuel connector. My RPMs were dropping while in the 1000-1200 range and noticed the primer ball was going soft. Also noticed slight fuel leakage around the connector once the ball was primed firm. The existing connector was only 1yo.

We have not had much rain down here in the Keys, but could it be possible that the water intrusion is from a fresh water wash down? I had water intrusion last summer, all coming through a bad seam seal behind my starboard rub rail.
