Woot ! Ace Line Hauler and *.* watch out dungies !

They make a carrying case for the Brutus 40. I think it is ~$60, sometimes the dealer around here will throw one in. Anyway well worth the money. I will take a picture of mine when I can get out to the shed.

    Towing Boat to Alaska

Jack towed our "new to us" cruiser from WA to AK last spring. I can't say enough good things about Jack. He is a class act. I would not hesitate to have him tow again if the opportunity ever arises. Regards, Dave

    New to us C-Dory

I was looking at upgrading my fuel tanks from the original '05 vintage to the new style. I got the Moeller part numbers from the factory, Moeller sent me the drawings for each tank in *.pdf file (FYI they are labeled as 23gallon). I have no idea how to upload *.pdf's and could not attach them...

    How about...a Marinaut 25?

Les, OK fair enough, That is why you build the boats. I don't want to hijack your thread, so maybe sometime in the future could you drop me a line or post your thoughts on the pros/cons and design aspects of brackets/extended transoms. I am always looking for the next boat so any education...

    ADVICE NEEDED; Safely removing swim-step.

Nice job! The step by step photos are great. How does the color match? I may get brave enough to try the same modification. Our 22 seems to be port heavy when leaving for a 3-4 day weekend. A kicker, two passengers and 20gallons of water to port with just me and a few odds and ends to...

    How about...a Marinaut 25?

Les, First and foremost, Wow what a great job on the Marinaut 215. You can tell from the build quality and design that there were a lot of great ideas in the works for quite some time. When I bought our 22 I looked at a 25 and was less than excited. Mainly because it did not feel that much...

    HEATING WATER ABOARD

I use the Wallas if we need the heat or are cooking something else. If we are just heating some water for tea/soup I use a Jetboil.

    Status Update- Kitsap Marina

Matt, Hang in there. I know times are tough but establishments that provide real customer service, like you guys, always seem to pull through. As a recent addition to the C-brat family and an owner of a used boat ('05) , I appreciated your help and assistance. You are head and shoulders above...

Top 22 ft modification bucket list:

I am with you on the custom saddle tanks. With the stock 20's I am maxed out at 110nm range. If you find a source in South Central AK for saddle tanks I may be down for a pair also.

    another radar arch question

How much taller is a tall radar arch? I have a "low profile" arch with a high top cabin. I am considering adding another 16"-20". Does this sound about right? Looking to store a dingy on top and be able to retrieve it with minimal aggravation. thanks, Dave[/img]
