Jim, if you use that method to calculate boat length, I've got 80 feet of boat. C-Dory 22' + 15' sailboat, + two 10' kayaks, + two 8' sailing dinghy, + 7' inflatable. Anyone want to buy a boat. :-)

Hi all. I just walked in the door. Ann went home with our son on the 25th & I stayed another week. I tried to live at hull speed. Enjoyed it really. Got to see a lot that you miss when on plain. Plus I got around 5.5 mpg :-) We had a great time at F.H. thanks to Patty & Barry. The best times...

Ann & I just returned from an Oregon Pipers Society compitition. The guest band was from Seattle, called the Keith Highlanders. Featured on the snare drum was our own Tim Flannigan of Two Lucky Fish(+1). Good job Tim !!!!!

Mike. Washington park launch ramp in marginal in good weather. It is exposed from the north & east. I think is would be wise & take Andy's advice, and NOT try to cross Rosario Straight in those conditions. As for following a Ferry, Homeland Security might not like you getting too close to one...

I've owned my M15 for about two years now. Last year I spent six days sailing from Olympia to Seattle & back. This June I spent ten days in the San Juan's with a group of Potters. In July, I sailed seven days in the central sound. The one thing I learned is a small sailboat begins to shrink...

Peter, great idea. The last few years we have came up for the Tap Room on Friday night then get a motel on the way back home. We've been to the boat show too many times, nothing there for us. That would be a good reason to stay over in Seattle. Count us in.
