Consumers warned to avoid eating oysters from area 1642

Come on guys....I spent the last couple of nights scratching no seeums from between the sheets in the La Quinta in which I am trapped. And now you are messing with one of last available pleasures of this old man, those delicious Apalachicola Oysters. Some things just oughta be off limits...

Recommendation for lodging in Ferndale area

Hot Darn!!! After only traveling in our motorhome for past several years, we are now trapped in a La Quinta in Houston and will spent the next several days in various motels as we work our way to Kent to take delivery of the new Willie's Tug. I have not been able to sleep without feeling...

    Boat Name Sticking Problems

From an old sign painter. Remove ALL wax or other polish. Use a squeegee to completely remove all the air from under the vinyl and set the vinyl to the surface. Carefully remove the transfer tape by gently pulling it back parallel to the surface, not up at right angles. Then press each...

    Moorage in the PNW

Great Idea Pat, you know how I liked the concept at Twin Bridges, but they could not handle Tugs. Something about the hull design and their stands. Glad to know that Hilton Harbor has a similar setup. But this trip, I will not have the motorhome and we will be staying most nights on the boat...

    Moorage in the PNW

Looks as if we are going to Anacortes (Cap Sante). It is the most expensive. We have to get a 40' slip because the dinghy puts us out past the 30' and they do not allow any overhang. We really enjoyed our time there last year in our motor home. Jake enjoys the walking path. The town is our...

    Moorage in the PNW

I have decided that we need a home base in the Pacific North West for the summer. We will pick up our 27 Tug from the factory around the 18 or 19th of May. We plan to be in the area through mid September leaving after the Bremerton Rendezvous. We will probably be in the slip only about half...

I could use some positive energy...

Jim, Willie and I are putting Nellie (and you and Joan) on our prayer list. We will also pray that you will make the right decisions for her care. Let us know what we can do here on this end. Willie and Herb.

    The Cajun Loop

When you are in Louisiana, please call it the Crawfish Festival or we will not know what you are talking about. Sounds like a great trip, we may put it on our agenda for next year.

Getting into your boat out of the Dinghy??

We bought this dinghy (RU260) for our new R27. My Golden Retriever loads fine from the dock. He should be ok from the swim platform we hope as it is more level with the dinghy. Jake appears to enjoy the ride.
