    06/06 - 06/08 - Annual Chesapeake Bay Gathering

"I would guess, there is a chance, on that weekend in JUne, That Sally's Sister, renamed, might register, soon... With a happy couple, down from St. Michael's way New to C Dory's, and ready to play... That leaves old Terraplane up on the dock, Like the old mariner, feeling just a bit on...

    Cummins QSD 150 hp / R-25

Yep, all good points. I had a Ford Lehman on one earlier boat..slow moving,no fancy parts. And i know the 110 has to be run often at almost max speed for the good of the engine..that was, curiously enough, something that almost always happened with any boat i've owned.. This kind of reminds me...

    Cummins QSD 150 hp / R-25

Theoreticsl question: Would all this make a difference if the Captain was not interested in speeds faster than 8 to 11 knots? That is my position. My CD 22 is the first boat i have ever owned (8) that went faster than 10 knots. Low speed, and not planing is not a problem for me. terraplane

    The Candy Counter

Sally's Sister is currently "under contrcact" as they say... Re: El and Bill's commentary. I'm contemplating a new boat, and those thoughts have been mine for several weeks now...Just turned 70...time to do what I wish to do, provided the various markers are in place. Still, it is a hard...

    ranger 25 question

Thanks Nancy, I will know in about a week if my deal goes through. I am selling my C D 22. It has been a great boat, but i think the R 25 will be a better fit for me. The boat has all the basic needs..air, thrusters, generator, 110 Yanmar. I'll add electronics and a bimini. terraplane

    ranger 25 question

Thanks Nancy, I'm contemplating a purchase, and this unit is on the available boat. It is mounted in a different place than what is shown on the Ranger brochures. It is kind of in the middle of the counter, so that when you are standing in front ofit, you are looking at the starboard side of...

    ranger 25 question

Do any Ranger 25 owners have the combination electric/propane cook stove on their boat? If so, any feedback on the unit would be appreciated. The stove has an electric burner on the left side, and a propane burner on right. I assume it is fed by a small screw in bottle. terraplane

    Running Wallas Underway?

I've had the Wallas for three years and except for one fuse replacement, it has been great here on the Chesapeake. Yesterday i took the boat out early, temp was 34F..and the inside temp was 72... One thing: I have always started the stove with the lid up, and the setting on the highest, 6. I...

    tough economic times

I'm not too savvy when it comes to $$$..rarely does my checkbook balance...i get close though. So: l. Keep up the support of the C Dory brand...for me it has been a good boat, dependable, safe, and fun. Yes, we find lots of glitches in specific boats , on this site, but overall, hundreds of C...
