Used C-Dory 22 or new Boston Whaler 190? Best for 1st boat?

I purchased my first boat which was the cd 22 cruiser. I got a cdory because of the c-brats forum. I have done most of my maintenance and trouble shooted most of my boat issues from this site. I agree with others that both new and used will have the same work and maintenance needed. A...

what fishing ride should I get??

That rod I believe is rated for 1-6oz of weight. It will work for using jigs up to 6oz. But when we fish with live bait we sometimes go up to 10-12oz of lead. That would be too much weight for the rod. I would feel better using the w & m rod for under 70 dollars and having a rod that is...

    Power trim problem

When I put it into single or seperate trim mode the starboard works fine using the toggle on the starboard throttle. But the port side trims up automatic still. It may just be the port side engine. "Internal relay". Is that easy to install? That is very helpful information. All...

I hope that is too. Where do you replace it? Is it on the engine or inside the cockpit where the throttles are? Can you get that part at any marine store?

    Power trim problem

I have the twin Suzuki 150 fuel injected outboard 2006 model. Went for a cruise today. The engines were doing fine all day. As soon as I get to the marina both engines start to trim up without me touching any buttons. I was able to trim the engines down by pressing on the trim down button...
