Did I Screw Up? And How Do I Fix It?

I went to the website and I see where it says not for auto pilot assisted systems. Does that sound right to you? Benton

    Winterization questions

BTW in my procedure to winterize I said 1 gal of pink. It'll take 2 or 3 to properly pink all but the cockpit washdown hot line. I will let the siphoning pull that water out while letting it be the vent for the heater siphon.

    Daydream is Getting Re-powered!

Pat, Glad to see you decided to go with the 200. As you might remember we have a Yammi 200 and having that extra power is great. And if I had to replace it everyone has been high on the Zukis. Better warranty and price.

    For Motorcyclists

I am a Senior so my memory isn't as good as it once was but: I wanted to take my wife on some rides but 20 miles was about all she could stand. Not enough seat for a pillion. Took her to the BMW shop and put her on the cruiser(back in '03) and just sat on the lot to see how she felt for an hr...

    For Motorcyclists

Harvy I got back into riding in 2003 with a 2003 1300 VTX. For me it wasn't a 'long distance' ride. I wanted to ride the 450 miles from home to the mountains in a day and be mostly comfortable. I then moved on to 3 different BMWs and put 250,000 miles by 2018. My current bike now does it all...

    Right switch panel lost power

Bob and others, Put the screw driver on the shaft and turned back and forth. It turned with a little tension clockwise. Flipped the switch and it ran. Bob, thanks for your help. That should have been my easiest and cheapest option. Now, I know!!

    Right switch panel lost power

Bob, Once again your comments are very helpful. I am recovering from left shoulder rotator cup surgery. Rolling around in our boats can be a real chore but add in no weight on that arm really makes it more fun. I was able to find that slot in the shaft yesterday and it was tight. I assume it...

    Right switch panel lost power

I don't know about you guys but I do impress myself with how dumb I can be at times. Once I laid down in the vbirth with a headlight I realized the two 25a fuses labeled Accessory are for the switch panels. The starboard fuse was fried. I replaced it and everything worked until I flipped the...

    Winterization questions

Martin, I am about 45 miles down the road from you. On Bogue Sound. When I winterize I: 1. Run the pump to push the water out through all the outlets 2. Put 1 gal. of pink in the tank 3. Run pink to all the outlets 4. I then syphon the water heater dry. Garden hose attached to the valve. 5. Run...

    Right switch panel lost power

I was winterizing and all necessary switches are on the right panel of my CD 25. Water pump, bilge, emacieator and horn are all on it. Everything went well but then nothing worked. I assume power or ground was lost to it and the left panel is fine. Any suggestions where I should start?

    Petroleum Jelly

I Oct. 2020 I posted reading to put that on the jell coat of a boat to make it look like new. It did look great for about 30 days. By mid Nov. it was looking as it did before the applying. So I can not recommend doing this. Just my $.02 :?

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

I did try the ceramic stuff too. That didn't last very long either. Weeks. I read about the dirt in the pores while researching it but it seemed to be not a big issue. I guess I'll deal with it in the future. Since I have completed the job we'll just have to see. I'll report on this. The grease...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

I'll add my .02 to this thread. Back in March I decided to detail Finale. The green trim looked way over 8 years old so after about 12 hrs. it didn't look that good. So I paid a detailer $650 to do it and after about 2 weeks it looked just like after my free job. I accidentally got some grease...

    New Boat Lift Question

Your bunks are angled, more like a v hull would be. I would angle them out a bit so there will be more contact on the hull. My bunks are flat so I angled them in to better fit the hull.

    C-Dory 25 Windshield Wipers

I might need to replace my port wiper motor. I have checked the fuse in the fuse block on the bulkhead of the v-birth. I have read there is another fuse on the park circuit but do not know where it might be. My switch starts the stbd. wiper or both wipers. If I have to replace 1 I will likely...

    Front deck tarp

We copied one we saw on here. The triangle is the same green and white stripe of the camper back top. There is a channel running under the brow and the base slides into that. When we set it up it shades the cabin and covers the forward hatch. It can be lowered forward to cut down on the wind and...

    Window Coverings

srbaum Thanks for your info. The wet torque -15 to -20% I have never seen but will use it. My plan now is to get the Tef-Gel and cote all ss screws in the painted aluminum around the windows and door. I hate seeing the paint bubble up all over near those screws. Benton :idea
