    Historical Weather Look Up?

Not sure if for every NOAA station, but for some yes. Locate the station that you want, for example Station 44062 - Gooses Reef, MD: http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=44062 At the bottom of the page you have a link to the historical data: Links which are specific to this...

New CD22 Angler - good idea?

I have a 96 Angler and it is perfect for me. I added the cockpit awning and works very well for fishing or taking the family out to a beach or small cruise. The cockpit is big enough to comfortably fish. For the overnights I have done, I had camped on the beach. Franco

    C-Dory with extended roof

Hi, I am looking to ask Blue Coral to make me a frame and canvas similar to Roger's and Brazo's for my 96 Angler. I know that since the Angler has a longer cockpit, it will not cover all of it, but I am ok with that. Questions: 1) How long is it? 2) Does anybody sees a problem using the...

Places to dock and explore in Chesepeake

I am close to Cambridge in the Choptank river and generally go to downtown Cambridge to eat by boat. This is probably a little bit too far from your place, but if you adventure to come this way, you have several options. Probably better for an overnight stay: You can dock for free at the...

    C-Dory Sightings

Yes, that was us (a 96 Green Angler) headed to the beach down the river. We live a couple of miles up river from the Choptank bridge in Indian creek. Let me know when you are back and we can meet somewhere in the river. Franco

    Killer Whale eats boy???

It is not real because: 1) Who would be looking for a pencil on a beach in Patagonia 2) Who would be wearing shorts and no shirt in Patagonia 3) Where is the seal that the killer whale was after? (eat both?) Franco

    Prop size for a 22 Angler with a DF90

You are welcome. The 5400 RPM reading is with the engine trimmed all the way down? 5400 WOT RPM is what I get with the engine trimmed all the way down. When I trim it up I get the max WOT. Franco

    Prop size for a 22 Angler with a DF90

Roger, The dealer end up recommending the 14x18 prop. At WOT it runs at 5900 RPM and 34mph. That is in the lower range of the WOT. I have a spare 13.75 x 15 aluminum prop that gives me the full WOT and 32mph with light load, with heavy load it would only reach 29mph and it feels like it is...

Water leaking into cabin, 22 ft. crusier

I had the same issue in my 1996 22' Angler during big downpours (if it is a long steady soaking rain, no problems). I checked windows, through hull fittings, anchor well, etc and could not find any trace of water. Once when it was raining hard I stayed in the boat to check the source of the...

    Another Prop. question, Sorry...

I have an SS 18 pitch in a Suzuki DF90 and the sweet spot is at 4400 RPM, 23 mph, 5.7 mpg. This is in 1 foot waves in a 1996 22 Angler and medium load (2.5 adults, 20 gallons of gas, cooler and some gear). Franco

    Insurance for CD

I have a BoatUS policy for an agreed hull value of $23,000 for $225/year $228 deductible. I was surprised how good the coverage was and how affordable. I used to have progressive, but it was $420/year and they will pay on actual value and not agreed value. In my case that was $14,000 and it will...

    Prop size for a 22 Angler with a DF90

Jim, Thanks for your reply. Yes it is the newer Suzuki DF90. I think I will ask the dealer to start with a 14x17 test prop and see how it performs. Franco

    Prop size for a 22 Angler with a DF90

Hi, I decided to change the old Johnson 70 for a DF90. I am trying to find out the proper prop size for the 22 Angler. After reading the posts in the Propellers forum it is not clear which prop will be the best fit. It seems that fellow C-Brats are using from 13 to 20 pitch in a 22 powered with...

    01/21 - 01/23 Seattle Boat Show/C-Brat Gathering

I completely disagree with saying the C-Dory is just for the grandfather type. I just find that characterization a little bit shortsighted. True C-Dory's are not for the people that just like to go fast somewhere (not really caring where they are going and what they miss on the way there). I...
