We didn't have a computer and can't type much with a smart phone although it was our gps, our stereo, our email and our internet. We trailered 190 mile south to Pirates Cove Resort and Marina in Stuart, Florida where we rented a slip and kept our rig. Had to launch a mile away a Sanscrit Park...

Getting started

We had to launch at the park a mile away and take a cab back to get the truck. Shame on the resort for that. Otherwase having a blast living on our boat. We're the smallest craft moored at Indianhead waiting to cross Okechobee due to small craft warning today

Got a place! Pirates Cove, Manatee Pocket, Stuart Florida. Have a slip for tonight and they will store my truck and trailer for $10 a night. We're outta here.

Finally got a few days (10) freed up for cruising. We were going to try to get down to the Keys or maybe St Johns but decided to do the Okeechobee Waterway instead. This will be a grand adventure since we have never trailered our boat, never been to Okeechobee and never been thru a lock. Got...

How do you get from the ICW to St. Johns River way south of Jacksonville? I live on the ICW between Jacksonville and Daytona Beach and would like to do a loop cruise. If I go south on the ICW, where can I cut over to St. Johns south of Daytona? Thanks! Blues Cruiser

As it now sits its easily accessed from the bow but the fabricater is talking me into an aluminum ladder from the rear over the head. Maybe next year...
