The LMF is plugged into the network and I think I'll believe it. 400 RPM' is really quit a difference if you are trying to tweak a prop.

Thanks for the advice Jody the tachs read pretty close at idle but as the RPM's increase the difference increases. At full throttle the LMF reads 5,100 while the analog reads 5,500. I think the rev limiter would protect it from a over rev. Max on the 90 is 5,500.

I installed a Lowrance LMF 200 a while back to get fuel flow. In doing this I noticed it read 400 RPM's lower than the Suzuki analog tach. I'm inclined to believe the LMF is correct and the Suzuki gauge reads low. Anyone else experience this? It really isn't any big deal but in trying to tweak...

I took a look at my tanks and the Starboard tank is model number 2339 (as Ken's pic shows) and the port tank is model number 2340. I guess the difference is the fill and vents.

I'm sure thats a misprint if you were using a contactor you would use a 3 amp fuse in the control circuit but not the motor feed circuit. The 3 amp fuse would blow instantly Wefing installed my windlass and it has no such fuse.

Something to think about is the 5208 is smaller than the 4208 even though it has the same size screen. The touch screen eliminates the room the buttons take up of course it's a lot more $.
