    Trailer tires - I don't get it.

I was checking out my rig and thinking about replacing my tires as I believe they are original. I discovered from the manufacturer code that indeed they are from 2003 - 13 years old! They appear to be in great shape but I will replace them for this season as a precautionary step. These tires...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

I just finished up some interior storage modifications that I am going to enjoy this summer. Check out the overhead rod storage. Basically it is for security storage when not on the boat and to keep the UV from damaging fishing lines etc. The rod butts go into the holders on the shelf and the...

Replacing Anodes (Zincs) on Honda Outboard

The 2003 BF90 is different than your 150 as it seems the intake manifold requires removal to access the two anodes in the water passage.

Replacing Anodes (Zincs) on Honda Outboard

I agree with you Boris, I'll stick with Honda parts for my Honda engine. You may pay a premium but at least you would expect the correct parts in both fit and function. Plus it's pretty easy to look up your part number for your specific engine. Boris, did you change out the internal anodes in...

Replacing Anodes (Zincs) on Honda Outboard

Hello All, I wanted to bring this thread forward again, to ask some questions to those who have done the replacement of the two internal anodes in the cooling system of their Honda 90's as I am preparing to do so. How often should this be done? How difficult is this procedure? Any photos to...

    Helm seat overhaul

ssbol, I seem to recall your input on another thread regarding the helm seat folding forward using a hinge system. What kind of hinges did you use?

    Helm seat overhaul

Awesome work!:thup Love the folding flat helm seat. What a great way to increase the galley countertop space. I too am thinking of copying your innovative idea to lay the seat back down flat. Now that you have done it, any regrets, problems, things you would have done different? How long...

    Permatrim

I installed one 2 seasons ago and like others have said it was pretty straight forward. I permanently sealed the entire permatrim to the cavitation plate with 3M 5200 as I was convinced, after reading here, that the performance would be greatly improved. After only the first trip out, I was...

I too have a Mariner Prosport Charger (two bank - one on a AGM and one lead acid battery) for two seasons without any issues.

    Foam in V-Berth or not?

I just finished digging out all the foam in my 2004. I plan to install 3 hatches on the side compartments - 2 aft of porta potti and 1 behind the loo. I expect to find it easier to access these compartment hatches without having to lift the cushion which is typically filled with sleeping bags...

    Cutting fiberglass?

I wanted to try pasting the photos this way too. Here is the tool I used to cut the sprayed in foam into manageable pieces. It works, thanks again Sunbeam.

    Cutting fiberglass?

Thanks for the comments. I may just leave as is and lay down some pieces of rubber or yoga mat just to dampen the rattle of items stowed up front. I am glad that no water or even damp foam was encountered. It was dry as a bone under there as I have seen others post about finding litres of...

    Cutting fiberglass?

Oh ya, forgot to add the foam photo. Three garbage later and the foam all came out. I used an insulation knife (like a bread knife) to cut up the foam in manageable pieces then scraped and vacuumed. On to fastening the hatches covers. But before I do I am thinking about painting the...
