I don't think anyone who survived the summer of 80 will ever forget it. 60 something straight days over 100 with back to back days of 113. I can remember some nights it was still; 90 at midnight. Hope to be floating somewhere cooler next summer.

We are now brats with a boat!!!! We won the EBay auction for the 26 Cape Cruiser and took a trip to Michigan for a sea trial today. Very nice boat....well taken care of. "NapTime" will make its way to Texas in about a week.

What would be a good rule of thumb for how long is to long to let them sit. Be a good to reason to say we need to take the boat out for preventative maintenance. Thanks

Jim - We have about 4 different 25/26s that we are seriously looking at. This process is very interesting. Some people are very responsive and others appear not interested in really selling the boat. One of the dealers is very difficult to get in touch with - business must be good these days...
