C-Dory 16 for sale in Annapolis, MD

Congratulations. We were really tempted to buy her back, but not in the cards for us right now. Hope you enjoy her as much as we did. Hope to see you on the water as we get down to the West River several times a year (from Crownsville on the Severn).

C-Dory 16 for sale in Annapolis, MD

Morning all, I noticed that our old boat "Wee Wine" is back on the market again. With a new Yamaha 50, it is being listed on Craigslist for the same price we sold it back in 2010. Looks like a pretty good deal. http://annapolis.craigslist.org/boa/3766860345.html

    CLC Northeast Dory build (Finishing)

Hi all, I had the opportunity to drop in and check out the CLC dory and Sweet Pea (CD 22 for sale) today. Nice work on the CLC and the 22 is in fine shape as well. Waiting for our Monk 36 sale to finalize and we would love to bring Sweet Pea over to our place.

I forgot to add that this is the data that you will find if you click on my inputs - very similar information that Jeff had posted in one of his replies. I did indicate on my joining that this information could be shared. and not much is current since my boat has been on the hard for the last 6...

    Chesapeake suggestions

Where would you Chessies suggest I launch and explore? The closer to I-95 the better since that is where I will be to start with. The boat makes 12 knots very easily and 24 when I want them so you can figure that into distances. I would like to anchor out in a nice quiet area and I don't need...

    iPad and NOAA BookletCharts

Dick, Cruisers are just now starting to move north from Florida and the information that they post on Cruisernet and Active Captain will be "hours" old vs. the days/weeks old data you will get from notices to mariners. Our last three trips on the ICW passed without any incident due to those...

    iPad and NOAA BookletCharts

New charts won't be much help, but Active Captain is excellent for the latest info and reports. Also (recommended in an earlier post) Clairborne Young's http://cruisersnet.net/ Gerry

    Calling upon Delaware River cruisers

#1 Go with the tide #2 Don't go if winds more than 15 from the East. You will hit square waves all the way down. #3 Watch out for the big ships, they are traveling a lot faster than you think they are.

"drop an offering in the box". Bob, Thanks for the reminder on this. You are absolutely correct in that this site has a significant "Value" that we tend to take for granted. Check is in the mail!!

    Spot Connect

We have been using the SPOT locator/tracking unit for 2 1/2 years during our Great Loop trip and our recent trip to the Bahamas. We get excellent battery life (3-4 months - with daily use while underway) and have not heard of any issues or recalls. We have the older unit The only problem we...
