It isn't US. Canadian registration was a 1k or 13k or 14k number before they went to letters from the Province. My old boat registered in 2003 when I brought it into Canada in 2003 was given a 14k number. My new C dory was given a BC number.

I suggest you power wash the bottom. Then use a 90 or 100 grit wet/dry sand paper and sand the bottom using water and smooth out the areas that may have chipped away. Be very careful not to sand to hard or intensive in one area because you could sand through any barrier coat or if not...

Well here the Canadian Gov gives you a number and says where to show it and the minimum size it must be, but makes no requirement where or how you get it on the boat. So I just waited and got it put on at the same time I put the name on. BTW it is the same color as the name in Seahawks blue.

Haha someone on the Seahawks forum wanted the logo facing the correct way. So here is a picture of it facing the correct direction. LOL

Well I didn't want to go to the graphic artist to put the name on until I could also put on the BC reg number at same time. Took them close to 3 weeks to get the number to me. Cant do in Victoria any more. Had to send docs to Nova Scotia and wait for a mail return to know the number.

Well I finally got my license number from the Canadian government, therefore I was finally able to add the name and logo to the boat. You can check out the pictures at my C Brat photo album.
