A bit off topic but the same criteria applies to used general aviation aircraft. Try to sell a plane you've upgraded with new avionics or a recently replaced engine and you're lucky to get back fifty cents on the dollar. This works for you as a buyer. You'll get a hugh discount on the avionics...

My marine mechanic suggests replacing the water pump every third season since it's cheap way to prevent big head aches.:cry However, at the end of each season he suggested I take out the bolts holding the lower unit and coat them with the blue marine grease.:wink:

Another comment from the right coast - Diversity is not what we're about on this site. I did post supporting C-Rangers on the site but have since had second thoughts about that as well. :embarrased

FWIW - I use 100LL avgas. This is my third season with no problems with the Honda 90. There's NO ethynol in avgas but it is pricey, $5.65 gallon. Fortunately I buy it wholesale but it still is close to $5.00.

SOP when flying - you don't want the extra weight particilarly on take off. But on the boat I keep the tanks full!

Yup - The overwhelming majority of company sales are asset sales not stock sales. This leaves all the known, and unknown, liabilities with the old company. Many times new ownership will honor some things like gift certificates but more often it seems you have to look for relief to the old owner...

I have a Honda analog tach with a LCD read out window showing engine hours. I noticed today what appears to be an hour glass looking symbol flashing to the left of the hours read out. I can't find a manual for the tach. Does anyone know if the symbol means anything more that the display is...
