My experience with this windlass is the switch fails. Try taking voltages in and out of the up/down switch.

Hi Jigger, At 6' 3", my head almost touches the ceiling when sitting at the helm seat, and does bump when in rough seas. You'll need to sit in a "High Top" to verify that you're not hunched at the helm. The "high top" doesn't go full width of the helm seat. So, it depends on your body height...

I believe it should be "...to a winch from a wench." That's way you get a winch and a wench.
