    10/23-10/25 - 4th Annual Gulf Coast Gathering

Agreement here, We should not expect Bob and Marie to do all the work. There are enough of us nearby to help out with planning and leg work. There are lots of good places to tie up and eat over here, in fact I'll bet there are 50 vacant slips at Homeport Marina (Lulus) right now. If we ate...

Bob couldn't have said it better. Denise and I are very pleased to have been part of the festivities. Our thanks to Marc and John for a very memorable experience. Bob, you and Marie can count on us for help with the next one. Many thanks to all the Brats that became part of our lives on...

Rwinemaker, Like yours, our boat has twin 40 Hondas. It also has Bennett trim tabs. Both the transducer and speed sensor are mounted on the back edge of the starboard trim tab. No holes in the boat at all and it works just fine. I recommend that method of mounting. It's in the water right now...

    A simple opinion

Jeff, Like most of the other respondents, I was not aware of any logo on the seats of a C-dory boat. My recommendation would be to not "sweat the small stuff" and strive to make the seats more comfortable. Save the fancy embroidery for hats and other brand name apparel which might bring...

Cool Google route planning mashup tool

You nailed it Harvey, Google Earth also has 360 deg. land photos that were taken from a truck about every hundred yards along most roadways. You will need to download the a recent version to get that feature. When still working I used some of the most powerful GIS programs to be found...

    My war on underground terrorist.

oldgrowth, Very amusing even if it weren't effective. It looks like the guy is injecting oxygen along with some kind of fuel (gasoline?) into the ground in many places and then igniting it all? Explodent tilling is the result. We know that neccessity is the mother of invention and that the...

    Dri-Deck

Osprey had Dri-Dek on the cockpit floor and twixt the fuel tanks when we bought her. As others have said, we have thought it to be rather uncomfortable on bare feet. Up north we hadn't noticed the squishiness when hot probably because it was never really hot. Will see how it is now in the south...
