Well, I would be happy if WDFW would give a number of fish per year...pick a number, say 12, and let us fish April through October to get those 12 fish. This stupidity of Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in May is idiotic.

Tim, Since water sinks in fuel, it will settle to the bottom of the see-through bowl and look like little clear marbles moving around on the bottom of the bowl. Drain it out and you're good to go. Rick

Our boat has a fuse back under the starboard gunnel just fwd of the laz. Depending on how your boat was rigged, there could be a hidden fuse lurking somewhere between the batteries and controls. If you haven't already done it, I'd start at the batteries and slowly work fwd looking for a fuse...

I disconnect the line from the kicker when flushing after a day's fishing and let it run til she dies. No problems. If I'm not going to use the boat for a week or more, I drain the carbs on the main. It's just too easy to not do it. Cheap insurance against carb problems.

Just a heads up...halibut season will be open in Area 6 Thurs -Sat. If the weather is even remotely good, boat ramps will be overflowing! Plan accordingly... Rick
