Maiden Voyage - Skyline Marina Anacortes

I gotta admit...it's really strange seeing somebody else having so much fun on my boat...without me on it! We're so happy that you guys are the ones who were able to buy her. I know she's in good hands and that was important to me. We can feel your excitement and it looks like you had a...

    C-Brat Burgee: redux

My only suggestion would be to have the bow of the boat facing the mast side of the flag, not the pointy end. This would make it appear that the boat was moving in the right direction as the wind blows the flag while underway. Rick

What it is like to be lifted by a CG helicopter

Ahh, "The good old days" Being an H-65 Flight Mechanic was a great job, and now that I'm retired, I'll miss that stuff. Dave- actually, the 60's have twice the range of the 65's. They can go way past my "Full Bladder Limit" light. Rick

    tackle organization

Ditch that big water tank and replace with a 6 or even 3 gallon model. We found 6 gallons lasted a long long time cuz all we used it for was hand washing, etc. Here's a thread on what we did: http://www.c-brats.com/viewtopic.php?t= ... water+tank The highlights...

Maiden (to me) voyage of my 22!

Glad you got to explore Crescent, it is pretty cool that the water is so clear. Freaky clear, really. It looks like boats are just hanging in mid air. Yeah, I asked about spending the night on the lake and was told by the ranger it was not allowed "Because there would be boats all over the...

    gritty fine black mold

I've had good luck wth water and 10-20% bleach in a spray bottle and wipe it on, leave it rest for a few minutes, and it usually wipes right off. Just keep it away from fabrics. We leave the center window open a crack to let air move, but the simple fact of the matter is that if you do not have...

New rules re: Puget Sound Orca

So let me make sure I understand this correctly. The commercial guys can keep on fishing in the area, but us sport fishing guys will be ticketed? Why doesn't this suprise me?

    Kicker steering

Got this connector from Cabela's. Maybe it can work for you? Simple ball and socket for on/off and it can be bent if needed.

    22 cruiser cockpit floor

Have a mooring cover (canvas) made to cover the cockpit while she's in the slip. It keeps the rain (and other stuff) out. It would attach to the aft cabin roof and slope down to the back. You shouldn't be getting water in the cockpit from any source but rain. Rick

It's official...Foggy Dew is sold. She's going to southern California and the new owners may chime in here and introduce themselves. Going to be a bit strange being boatless for a while but we've had lots of offers to take us fishing this summer....and of course we'll still hang out here at...
