  2. 6-7" aluminum foam grip clip on carabiner (see next photo) makes an excellent hand hold, clipped on rear cleat for emergency crawling into boat . This is especially true if the boat is equipped with Permatrim. I leave it there permanently.

  5. 12 watt Solar Panel (battery maintainer) Mounted on storage shed roof near boat. Took 50' extention cord and cut 18" off female end and attached it to a small solar controller (picture 3) in Lazerette attached to main cranking battery. Attached the long piece to the Solar panel. When connected (pic 2) I have automatic battery maintenance. I leave switch on both so the whole system is maintained. A small switch was added to turn off the battery combiner during solar charging.

  6. Backup Cam: Aftermarket "Peak" 7inch bought on E-bay $85 delivered. 15 min. easy install. Picture in rain at dusk with wet camera lens. Makes it super easy to attach boat single handed.

  7. Close Fit. New Delta 14 Fast set just clears (old Bruce 11 had plenty of room)as the auto launch drops. Note second shackle at top of anchor allows simple clip to top of roller bar for trailering security. Stainless shackle and SS swivel also just fit in front of windlass even at full tension. Shackle\swivel combo eliminates most of the possibility of side loading on the swivel (I think).

  10. Got a new Pontoon Ladder. Fits snug and tight under cleat (for grankid type weights) Am going to have to devise system with standoffs for my weight. Also need to decide where to store the monster.

    2008 22 Cruiser Anchor Type

    Regarding the pivoting roller, it scares the life out of me every time with a windlass. First, the tip of my Delta 14 is very close, 2.4 inches on mine, from the fiberglass at full up. (seemingly it would be much closer at the start of the pivot, though the tip of a 22 angles back quickly)...
