    CD22 Storage

We made two changes over the winter that we were just recently able to test on a five day river trip. Both turned out even better than expected. The first was removing the foam and adding hatches to the space under the v-berth. This was a pretty big job that we didn't really see much benefit...

    Baltimore Harbor Nautical Chart

My brother just moved to Baltimore and bought a house on the Northwest Harbor. I was thinking of a Baltimore harbor (NOAA 12281) navigational chart as a house warming gift. The chart would be mainly for decorative purposes since he does not have a boat. Since I have only boated inland, I...

    EFI vs. Carburated

Colby, I am happy with the power and I don't fish, so trolling is not an issue for me. My boat is a high top, but I am 6'3", so I was looking for a high top. If I were buying again, I would get a 115 again. I don't have any experience with 90's, so I can't really compare. Rob

    EFI vs. Carburated

It would not make much difference to me as far as the purchasing decision goes. If you do end up with the boat, I think it would be nice to know one way or the other so that you know whether or not Yamaha parts are an option. I have been very happy with my 115. It is usually just the three of...

    EFI vs. Carburated

I would check with the seller. If he doesn't know, check with Randy Sheehy who rigged the boat at Stateamind Watersports. Randy can probably find out if he doesn't know. My boat came from the same dealer shortly before the one you are looking at. Mine has Yamaha power head and Mercury lower...

    Relocating Bilge Pump

There is no space under the deck. You are standing on the outer hull. The only suggestion I can think of would be to keep your fuel tanks full, which would add weight to the stern. Rob

Help with the name of a fitting...

The boot on my boat was falling apart when the boat was new. The dealer sent me the following, which fit the existing hole pattern perfectly. Rob http://www.amazon.com/Attwood-Corporati ... B0009TS3VU

Baltimore C-dorys? Boating on Chesepeak bay, property.

I am interested in the discussion of purchasing waterfront property, but unfamiliar with the terms you are using. Are you talking about the minimum water depth at the dock? My brother just moved to Baltimore last month and is living in termporary housing while house hunting. Thanks. Rob

    Teak for Boat Project

I am looking at a clock and barometer / thermometer / hygrometer for the boat . I would like to mount them on a piece of teak. I would need a piece that is 5" x 10" x maybe 1/2" thick. I little bigger would be fine, but that would be the minimum. Does anybody have a small piece like that to...

    Used boat price

I would have to agree with all of the other comments. As a 22 owner, I am happy to them sell for as much as possible. Rob

    V berth storage

I think the amount of foam must vary from boat to boat. Mine was as full as it could possibly be, and it was a pretty major effort to get it all out. Once you cut the hole, you are pretty much committed. I am happy with the results, but I am also glad the job is done. Rob

    Grilled Steelhead Trout

Yummmmmy!!! We just cooked some Steelhead Trout on our Cobb grill using The Mattson recipe and it was awesome. Our 11 year old daughter thought it was fabulous as well, which is always a bonus. We added roasted potatoes seasoned with rosemary, kosher salt and pepper along with soy glazed snow...
